The main hotel is well presented and front of house staff were welcoming and accomodating. Free parking is available close by,
I was shown to the appartment which is around 150 yards from the main building and situated above a petrol station.
The appartment itself was spacious and reasonably clean however it was tired and in need of refurbishment.
a fridge freezer was place randomly in the living kitchen area, I assume to account for the built in one which was not useable and not able to be closed properly.
usual utensils were available however no complimentary tea or coffe supplied.
The bedroom was large and the bed comfortable. there was a rack for hanging clothes but no hangers.
The bathroom was OK once I discovered how to get hot water. the bath was slippy and would benefit from a matt.
When the fire alarm went off at 05:15 I had to walk to the main hotel reception in the rain to alert the staff that this was going on. They then attempted to turn this off with no success. fire brigade then attended.
Overall I would not reccomend the 'comfort' appartments. that being said I'm not sure how good bad or indifferent the main hotel itself is.
Breakfast in the attached restaurant was nice.
