Genau die Unterkunft, die wir uns gewünscht haben!

Das Haus ist authentisch renoviert und sehr gepflegt eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sofort zu Hause gefühlt. Die Lage ist sehr schön, mitten im Dorf, mitten im Leben.

Sehr geschmackvolles Haus in Leucate Village

Uns hat der Aufenthalt in Janes Haus sehr gut gefallen. Auch die Lage direkt im Ortskern direkt bei der Kirche ist sehr schön. Zur Zeit als wir gebucht haben, war aus dem Inserat bei Fewo-direkt nicht zweifelsfrei verständlich, ob es WLAN und eine Geschirrspülmaschiene im Haus gibt. Tatsächlich ist aber beides Vorhanden!! Mit dem Bäcker direkt gegenüber und dem Obst- und Germüsegeschäft in der Straße, sowie dem zweimal pro Woche stattfindenden Markt direkt in der Straße (Rue de l'Église) ist man essenstechnisch gut versorgt. Der Supermarkt (Carrefour Contact) liegt am Ortsrand in 1,2km Entfernung. Während der Markttage haben wir auf dem Parking Boulodrome immer einen Parkplatz (Osterferien) gefunden. Im Sommer könnte natürlich in Leucate voller sein. Direkt oberhalb des des Hauses auf dem Hügel befinden sich die Ruinen des Château de Leucate und eine Kapelle. Dort oben kann man sich sehr schön den Sonnenuntergang anschauen und in der Abendsonne ein mitgebrachtes Getränk genießen. In der Umgebung von Leucate gibt es einige Burgen und Schlösser zu besichtigen. Perpignan hat uns gefallen und sogar Barcelona lässt sich in 2 1/2 Stunden (230km) für einen Tagesausflug mit dem Auto erreichen. Im haus lässt es sich mit 5 Personen in den 3 Schlafzimmern gut aushalten und die Einrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll. Mit 6 Personen sollte es auch gehen, aber da sollte man mit der Vermieterin (Jane) erst mal sprechen. Insgesamt ist das Haus sehr zu empfehlen.

Interessantes Haus mitten im Ort. Resraurants, Bars und Bäcker in maximal 50m Entfernung. Die Lage mitten im Dorf bringt viele Vorteile, aber auch etwas Lärm mit sich.

Gute Lage in Leucate Village

Wir haben unseren Urlaub in Leucate Village sehr genossen. Das kleine, einfache und nette Reihenhaus von Jane liegt zentral im Dorfkern. Hier muss jeder selbst entscheiden, der Bäcker liegt gegenüber, der Markt kommt vor die Tür, Restaurants sind im Umfeld zu finden und man genießt das Dorfleben. Absolute Ruhe gibt‘s eher an anderer Stelle. In Sommer kann es auch sehr heiß werden, das Haus bietet keine Klimaanlage und die Ventilatoren sind eher nicht geeignet. Die Lage war für uns allerdings perfekt, mit dem Auto in die eine Richtung zum super tollen Strand und auf der anderen Seite zum Étang - Surfen. Danke Jane!

super séjour

La maison est très charmante, très bien située , près des commerces dans le centre de Leucate. Nous avons profité des longues sorties à vélo en famille avec nos enfants de 11 et 16 ans et de la dégustation des fruits de mers. Un grand bol d'air bien apprécié par toute la famille, nous reviendrons avec plaisir!

Charmante Unterkunft

Das Haus befindet sich mitten in Leucate. Zweimal die Woche findet ein Markt direkt vor der Haustür statt, was uns gut gefallen hat. Das Haus ist uns in einem sehr sauberen und gut ausgestatteten Zustand übergeben worden. Die Kommunikation mit der Besitzerin vorab und auch während des Aufenthaltes war sehr nett und freundlich. Wir haben einen sehr schönen Urlaub in Leucate verbracht!

Fantastic accomodation, wonderful beds, we loved !

A perfect place to visit, beautiful nature, great cuisine including amazing Oysters. The beach bars and restaurants are as good as you'd find anywhere in the South of France. We look forward to our next visit.

Charme pur

Wir wurden von den Vermietern herzlich empfangen - auf dem Tisch stand ein frischer Strauss Wiesenblumen, selbstgemachte Feigenconfiture und einen schönen Tropfen Wein! Das Haus sowie das Dorf Leucate und seine Bewohner sind sehr charmant. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, die Lage geschätz (Frischmarkt vor der Haustür, gute Restaurants und Cafés, schöne Landschaft, vorallem das "Plateau" und Strände) ebenso die Ruhe! Der Vermieter war auch äusserst hilfsbereit mit der Organisation der Fahrradmiete und so konnten wir mit unserer vierjährigen Tochter wunderschöne kleine Fahrradtouren unternehmen und menschenleere Strände geniessen (Mitte Juni). Das einzige was nicht zu unterschätzen ist, ist der Wind, der aufkommen mag. Aber wie die nette Nachbarin meinte: "C`est le pays!"

Un grand moment de détente familiale

Nous nous sommes retrouvés 2 familles avec 5 enfants dans cette magnifique maison de village. L'espace en haut est très appréciable pour discuter lire regarder un dvd ... C'est aussi un super dortoire! Une belle circulation générale, le coin séchage du linge, une belle idée ... Deux chambres spacieuses où l'on dort bien ... Une cuisine et un salon pour de belles réunions gustatives ou des jeux de sociétés ou lire peinard !!! Et si le vent n'est pas trop présent alors le petit apéro sur le trottoir sera une sorte de temps intemporel entre l'intérieur et l'extérieur qui remplira votre sentiment d'un bien être tel l'oiseau voyageur dans un courant d'air chaud ... En fait, juste à vivre ! :-) merci Jane et Jean Patrice!

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'accueil très chaleureux à l'arrivée dans cette charmante maison. C'est un lieu de vacances idéal pour profiter de l'ambiance estival d'un village authentique du sud et de la mer. La balade sur le plateau au milieu de cette garrigue odorante nous a laissé un très bon souvenir! Hâte d'y revenir!!

Fantastic house, great little village, super relaxing holiday

Had a really enjoyable spring break here - the beach nearby is fantastic with a totally chilled beach bar, the surrounding area and walks are stunning (don't leave without visiting the chateau just up the hill) and the village life is lively enough to serve all your holiday needs. Kids enjoyed the nearby 'Parcour' tree-top adventures as well as hunting for oysters and next time we'd all like to try kayaking around the lake to explore the islands. Would recommend 'Les Planches' around the corner for delicious and unusual African cuisine, as well as their fresh cocktails and mocktails. The house itself is really lovely, Jane made us all feel very welcome and the top floor 'apartment' space was a real hit with the kids who had loads of space to relax and unwind. Enjoyed a few lunches and coffees on the calm and secluded roof top terrace space, and found everything we needed was available to use in the kitchen - including lunch boxes for packed lunches/snacks (very handy!) Would recommend this to anyone for a totally relaxing time in a clean and welcoming home.

Superb house and location

This lovely house has everything you need to base yourselves in this beautiful area where you can explore the many stunning abbeys and castles as well as the gorgeous beaches. You can even pop down the road and buy baguettes and patisseries! It is quite splendid.

Central charming house

Perfectly positioned to the main square and the local cafes and bars. I highly recommend the house and all of its excellent facilities. How wonderful to have a choice of 3 boulangerie/patisseries for our daily croissant. There is so much to see and do in the beautiful surroundings, including local wine tasting.

Village et plage à Leucate

Maison très agréable, décorée avec goût et donnant l'occasion de s'immerger dans la vie du village, à dix minutes à vélo d'une des plus jolies plages de la région. La rue donne l'occasion de prendre la fraîcheur dans un cadre authentique et l'espace du deuxième étage est particulièrement accueillant.

Très bien!

Excellente semaine passée dans cette maison plein centre village, idéalement placée entre l'étang et la plage, avec l'ensemble des commerces à 2 pas. Accueil excellent de la propriétaire, pas avare de conseils. Nombreuses activités variées d'accès facile dans la région. Maison très bien tenue, décor épuré. S'il fallait trouver des défauts, je dirais qu'il manque un WC en bas et un lave vaisselle... On espère pouvoir revenir!

Charmantes Stadthaus in Leucate

Es handelt sich um ein wunderschönes altes renoviertes Stadthaus, welches in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße (Einbahnstraße) im Stadtzentrum liegt. Das Haus ist sehr großzügig und selbst bei Temperaturen über 30 Grad angenehm kühl. Alle Einrichtungen wie Bäcker, Bars, Cafés, Restaurants sind fußläufig erreichbar. Dienstags und freitags ist Wochenmarkt, hier kann man sich mit frischen Lebensmitteln nach Herzenslust eindecken. Städtetrips nach Narbonne oder Perpignan sowie Ausflüge ins Hinterland zu den Katharerburgen sind sehr zu empfehlen. Jane ist eine liebenswerte Gastgeberin, die sich sehr herzlich um ihre Gäste kümmert.

Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre séjour dans cette maison de village qui respire l'authenticité. De plus les propriétaires sont prévenants et n'ont pas hésité à nous laisser profiter d'une journée supplémentaire. Qu'ils en soient sincèrement remerciés. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Une maison spacieuse & agréable

Comme très souvent sur ce site, la location correspond au descriptif mais cette fois-ci c'est encore mieux car l'hygiène est irréprochable. Le linge de maison fourni en quantité est impeccable. La maison est spacieuse, sobre et justement décorée. Evidemment nous recommandons cette location. Nous connaissons Leucate depuis plusieurs années, et avec notre fille de 5 ans nous avons passé 2 semaines très agréables : vélo, plage, des activités sont proposées gratuitement par le village (concert, atelier créatif le jeudi soir pour les enfants). A proximité la forteresse de Salse avec visite guidée est intéressante et adaptée pour les enfants. Le voisinage est sympathique et la propriétaire Jane soucieuse de notre bien être.
