“The hotel and staff were nice. The room didnt have shampoo and conditioner, so that was unfortunate. The breakfast room was also very hot and the offerings were slim. Otherwise it was just one night and was a nice stay!”

“This property is old but provided updated amenities. Walls are not very well insulated so noise was an issue. The location was across the street from a park and within sight of the Mackinaw Bridge.”

“The lady at the check-in was very nice and polite. The hotel is just a money maker. They put the least possible effort into cleaning the balcony that I paid extra to have was a slab of chipboard with sticking up nails full of spiders. I don't think it's ever been cleaned. Beach was filthy trash everywhere.”

“I drove into town with an “injured” car window and no one in town open to help, but upon checking in, the owner of Cedar Hill Lodge eased my mind and had a plan to at least prevent the coming rain from getting in overnight. The care and concern for not interrupting my trip due to unforeseen circumstances was beyond helpful and gave me the confidence that I could continue on to Mackinac Island for the day with no worries- he was quick to help me figure out where to go the next morning for...

Helpful suggestions from friendly desk clerk were 'spot on' helpful. Facility clean, comfortable room and beds. Hot tub and pool also nice. Stay here, you won't be disappointed.”

“Hotel was in a beautiful location on the beach. Waterpark was fine, but kiddie pool was freezing and the main part of the Waterpark was torn apart and unusable. The room was quiet. Fine overall.”
