“The only thing Premier about this hotel is the name. they have rooms with beds but that is about it. I woke up in the middle of the night by some loud racketing outside the room (103 close to the breakfast room), thought it was someone drunk coming back, but it kept on and on. After some time I went out to the reception and it was the persons in the reception doing vacuumcleaning like a grumpy teenager bumping around chairs and slamming with doors. “Pet friendly , lovely enclosed large garden my dog was allowed to use , breakfast served in old pub area really historic & friendly helpful owners . Stayed in hikers number 1 , very clean & modern & everything provided with view of garden , easy to find & local pubs if needed . Hope to return . ”

“It’s our second time staying at the Doubletree in Brighton. Whilst our room was great, large, and had a huge bed, it did unfortunately stink of stale cigarettes. I don’t think the room should have been assigned to guests unless it had been aired for a few days. In saying that, I know that this hotel is usually perfection so wouldn’t hesitate to stay again! Breakfast was amazing and in a beautiful room too.”
