VISUALIZZAZIONI, ANNO LUNGO L'ACCESSO AL LAGO ROTONDO DAL GALLEGGIANTE, PRIVATO !!!!!!!!! High Rock Lake è il secondo lago più grande della Carolina del Nord.
Siediti sull'ampio portico posteriore coperto e divertiti a guardare le oche e le anatre mentre grigliate e rilassate. Ampio cortile per parcheggiare barche e automobili. Facile accesso a 2 rampe di barche gratuite a pochi chilometri dalla casa (Buddle Creek al largo di Holloway Church Road e accesso all'area ricreativa della fauna selvatica per il grande lago); High Rock Lake Marina vicino per il gas e le forniture è aperto tutto l'anno. Noleggio barche pontone disponibili presso la Marina da maggio a settembre. (Mol). Dock 3 barche. Ottimo barbecue a soli 2 km. Shopping e ristoranti nelle vicinanze a Lexington. Kayak, canoa, pesce, paddle board, sci, jet ski, pontone e goditi il lago. Tour area vigneti e birrifici.

Vacation

We have never been to High Rock Lake prior to this stay. We were looking for pet friendly and a place to bring our boat. We had no way to know the weather would be off the week after Memorial Day. The house and location were great. Plan on cooking and eating in unless you want to travel 20 minutes or more for anything other than diner food. It was fine for us since we couldn’t leave our dog alone. We hope to visit again and hope for better weather. The house has the amenities we needed. The host was quick to respond with any questions. The house does have lots of steps to the lake (47); however we navigated with no problems.

We like to fish. It needed electricity at the dock to plug in the batteries on the boat. It was a clean and comfortable home.

Comfy and Spacious Lake House

Easy to find and check-in, and plenty of helpful information (and welcome gift!) provided by the hosts. The house was just as pictured and comfortably fit our combined families (7 people total). The neighborhood was very peaceful. We only stayed for a few days, but the house had everything we needed to feel right at home - full kitchen utensils and appliances, laundry, grill, and 3 bathrooms! The back deck was wonderful with so much seating and nice views of the lake yet plenty of privacy. We spent a lot of our time there! The dock was a long way down but the stairs had enough landings to make it easy enough going back up. It was also great sitting down there. The property owner responded quickly to the question we had and she was super helpful when we accidentally left a few things behind. We would definitely stay again for our next visit with family!

Castaway cottage

Nice home. The covered deck with a sitting area and a table for dining was a huge plus. We spent most of our time there or down on the dock. We had a wonderful time. The steps going upstairs are a bit steep and that information might need to be included in the description. They could be hard to navigate for the elderly or someone carrying a baby or toddler up

Great getaway!

Nice lakefront home, good size for our family of four. Very clean and well stocked in a quiet neighborhood. Enjoyed fishing, grilling and time with the family on the large covered deck. Lots of stairs going to the water and the stairs going up to 2 bedrooms were very steep, but not an issue for us. It would’ve been nice to have had working TVs in the bedrooms - mostly for the teenagers! Had a wonderful time overall and definitely recommend!

Nice lake house

So nice to have a little lake house with a dock. We rented a pontoon from the marina. The kids had fun as well. Just enough space for our 7 people who came with us. Kitchen was well supplied and we cooked our meals. Thank you!

Another wonderful stay

This was our second stay at Castaway Cottage. Lovely view of the lake in a rural, quiet subdivision. Our hosts, as always, attentive and accommodating. If you like getting up in the morning, relaxing with a cup of coffee and watching water-birds on the lake, this is the location for you.
