“There are only 3 pods, which protects the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The view is exceptional and a place to truly relax. The pods offer a good standard of living space with a lovely hot shower and a really comfortable bed. The local sheep add an interesting intro to being in the countryside and lovely to watch. The pod is reached by a narrow single track road but this didn’t cause us any difficulties. The location is great for getting most places in the Dales. We will definitely be back. ”

“Wonderful stay with my friend at our 2 dogs, great facilities if you have dogs and very secure for them. It is worth noting that you can not pull your car directly up to the hut to unpack and pack, but it is only a very short walk. Lots of nice walks and secure places for dogs to have a run off the lead. Wildlife in the area is second to non. We walked into Thirsk from the huts and had a lovely lunch and such a pretty town. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning. ”

“3rd time at these cabins and they never disappoint. Lovely clean, well presented, well equipped and comfy. Hot tub is a added bonus and an ice way to spend the evening. Gemma is a friendly host and the chickens are cheeky but made us laugh. Highly recommended.”

“Arrived to a great holiday pod. We could get entry straight away. There was teabags, coffee and sugar provided and some fresh milk. Enough to have a drink whilst unpacking and settling in and more! The team were only too happy to help and advise about all things which was really good. Hot tub, just what we needed to relax and recuperate after long walks and to just be. Asked not to play music outside the pod meant we could hear the natural music clearly, and you didn't impose on your neighbours...

“Wonderful countryside and surprising light traffic locally. 30 minute walk on a quiet lane to the George & Dragon for good food, real ale and a delightful beer garden. Excellent Green Howards army museum and grand castle in Richmond. Hawes well worth a visit and Barnard Castle is a surprisingly large and bustling market town which has a lot going on and is a must see location. Our accommodation at Flowery Dell was ideal for our base. Good, quiet location in a well equipped, clean and spacious...

“If you like old buildings, well maintained and fitted with a smart hotel stylish bathroom, excellent view over the dale, this is the one. It is in the hamlet of Newbiggin on a quiet road amongst other attractive cottages. Loads of space for 2, 4 would be fine but I think 6 adults would rather cosy in the lounge and with just one loo & bathroom, albeit a very smart one.”
