The Space:
Step inside this serene countryside hideaway and discover a space designed for comfort, calm, and connection. Relax in the cosy double bedroom with plush bedding and an en-suite bathroom featuring a luxurious bath and walk-in shower.

The open-plan living area includes a smart TV, sofa bed, dining nook, and a well-equipped kitchenette - perfect for laid-back mornings or quiet evenings in.

Open the large bi-fold doors and step onto your private terrace, where rolling hills stretch out before you. Enjoy a morning coffee or evening glass of wine as the sun sets over the Yorkshire Dales.

We can also arrange optional extras for you, such as hampers filled with local produce or set up special extras for birthdays, anniversaries, or romantic escapes - we'll make your stay truly memorable.

You’ll step straight into a landscape of rolling hills, winding trails, dry stone walls and endless sky - ideal for walkers, cyclists, and anyone seeking a true countryside escape.

Despite the quiet, you’re only minutes from some of North Yorkshire’s most charming market towns. Leyburn is less than 5 minutes away with its cafés, pubs, and Friday market. The historic town of Richmond is close by, with a castle, riverside walks and Georgian architecture. The popular village of Reeth offers outdoor adventures, gift shops, and views over Swaledale.

Nearby attractions include Aysgarth Falls, the Forbidden Corner, Middleham Castle and more - all easily reached by car. There’s a great choice of traditional pubs and independent farm shops dotted around the area, so you’re never far from a proper pint or locally made cheese.

Getting Around:
The property is perfectly placed for exploring the Yorkshire Dales by car. Leyburn is less than 5 minutes away, with Richmond, Reeth, Aysgarth Falls, and The Forbidden Corner all within easy reach. Whether you're after scenic drives, local pubs, walks or cycling routes, everything is close by. A car is recommended to make the most of nearby villages, attractions, and the beautiful countryside.

The cottage was new, so it was beautiful, clean, and well looked after. Set in the countryside it was very quiet. It was like a home from home and very comfortable. The only downside was the ticking clock in the bedroom and the heat pump, which kicks in at all times during the night. With it being so quiet outside these sounds were magnified and we haven’t come away feeling refreshed. If anything we feel more tired. Beautiful place but the above 2 reasons will stop us returning.
