Escape to the Wooden Hare, a luxurious two-bedroom holiday escape nestled in the Yorkshire Dales between Leyburn and Bedale in the village of Finghall DL8 5LZ, offering a serene retreat with unrivalled countryside views and superb village pub. This idyllic haven accommodates up to four guests, making it perfect for a small family or a couple seeking a romantic getaway.

Wooden Hare has an open-plan living space with modern kitchen, full height fridge freezer and French windows opening to the raised decking where you will find the pretty wood framed electric hot tub bubbling away and far reaching views on Yorkshire. There is plenty of furniture to sit soft or dine at. After dinner, unwind with a game of snooker or ping-pong on the convertible dining table, or simply relax on the sofa by the bioethanol fire.

Retire to the sumptuous super-king-size bedroom, complete with a Smart TV for lazy mornings next to a generously sized bathroom offering large walk in shower, roll top bath, toilet and sink. The second bedroom features a single bed with a full-size trundle, allowing for a total of 4 guests to sleep very comfortably.

The property has been furnished with the modern luxury traveller in mind. High spec fittings and furnishings, kitchen ware and luxury thread count towels and linen along with dressing gowns (all with the Hare logo).

The garden comprises of high rise decking with a section of glass balustrade soaking in the field view. There is a continuous pathway surrounding the property along with private lawn and parking. All enclosed and pet proof. There is ample parking for cars as well as an electric charging point. The cottage is detached and private.

From the decking you can talk down to the small ponies in the field and watch the pheasants, hares and rabbits go about their day. Occasionally you may see the odd black rabbit!

There are 2 pubs in walking distance, both dog friendly. One in the village which requires booking and one a short walk. Both serve food have log fires and gardens for children to play in.

There are ample river and rural field and lane walks from the property. You can even go to the reservoir by foot and watch the boats sailing.

The Wooden Hare has a sister property near by called Hare Cottage so you can add another group to your party for a combined local stay. This has 2 en-suite bedrooms, 1 super king and 1 king. Open plan kitchen with beautiful views over the enclosed private garden with wood surround electric hot tub and outdoor sauna.
