Whether you’re seeking a peaceful retreat in nature or a base for exploring Devon and Cornwall, this stunning location has something for everyone. Spend your days soaking in the tranquil lakeside atmosphere, the miles of scenic walking, cycling trails, picnic spots and fishing. The nearby water sports centre on the lake offers kayaking, windsurfing/foiling, canoeing, paddleboarding, sailing, climbing, high ropes and archery. Surrounded by charming villages and spectacular landscapes, this is an ideal spot for those who love the outdoors. Dartmoor National Park (10 miles) boasts breathtaking hikes across dramatic moorland. Situated on the Devon and Cornwall border, the nearby A30 provides easy access to popular destinations, including Bude (20 miles), where you’ll find golden beaches, independent shops, and fantastic eateries. Two additional twin rooms offer flexible sleeping arrangements, with one convertible to a super-king-size bed on request.     Step outside onto your private south-facing terrace and take in the stunning open-field views—a wonderful spot for morning coffee, al fresco dining, or sunset drinks. For those who love to cook outside, the Hook and Cook BBQ holders provide a hassle-free way to grill up a feast using disposable BBQs.
