Hotel a Lillings Ambo

“We booked this as a last minute booking and wasn't sure ehat we were expecting but wow what a place! Beautifully designed, nice and relaxing. Staff couldnt do enough and great value for the rooms, Breakfast was lovely too! Only 20 minutes away from York City Centre will definitely be staying again”

“Ho avuto un piccolo problema risolto nel giro di cinque minuti. Abbiamo dormito bene e la colazione è stata buona”

“Room was big and clean with a lovely bed. Bathroom was ok but looking a bit tired. Parking was easy. Breakfast was great, everything you could want including omlettes. Didnt like the orange juice was more like orange squash. Public areas were modern and clean.”

“Soggiorno estremamente piacevole, purtroppo di un giorno solo. Essendo un pub piuttosto animato, ne abbiamo approfittato anche per un'ottima cena.”

“A great stay at The George. A warm welcome, great comfy family room and wonderful breakfast.”

“Hotel is central. Bed is small for two and you hear noise for the other rooms.”

“Property lovely, high standard interior. Staff on reception felt a little awkward as if on guard sat at a desk near the stairs but were always friendly. Access was a little difficult due to cars parked around the entrance to the car park. I guess to avoid the additional charge per night extra charge which we paid. Upon leaving our car was covered in tree sap but it will wash off. We stayed for 4 days and no one came into our room to empty our bins, replenish toiletries or restock the hot drink...

“It is OK for one night for travelling purposes”

“i like the facility of structure”

“Camera pulita, super confortevole e ampia, staff alla reception e al ristorante molto gentile e disponibile. Cena deliziosa. Posizione della struttura centrale e ben collegato con i mezzi pubblici. ”

“A near perfect stay at Delta hotels. The food, staff and pool were perfect. The only minus was the room’s bathroom which desperately needs an upgrade. Otherwise a great hotel next to the racecourse with a beautiful walk down the river into York. Would definitely come back.”

“Camera pulita un po’ piccola ma perfetta per un breve soggiorno parcheggio interno personale gentile”

“brilliant place. staff were lovely, very friendly. i needed vegan options for breakfast and they were more than happy to accommodate. great location and easy parking behind the pub. would definitely stay again”

“The property was in a rural location and looked attractive from the outside. The staff were all friendly and helpful and breakfast was nice. The bedroom was quite dark and as its an old building wasnt particularly well sound proofed. The bathroom constantly had a terrible smell, like damp. This was very unpleasant.”

“Had a nice stay for our anniversary. Good suggestions for local walks. Wine and food was nice. It was a little disappointing that they did not do anything to mark our 10 year wedding anniversary and we had put a note on our booking. Drinks are quite expensive £6.50 for a pint/£10 for prosseco glass”

“Un albergo molto confortevole e gestito con passione in una zona comoda per la stazione ed il centro cittadino. Una buona colazione. Edificio classico inglese.”

“Excellent all round. Lovely big rooms and great staff. Food brilliant for dinner and also breakfast.”

“We only stayed at Ashbourne House for one night and it was very nice. Lovely room with a Comfortable bed, great shower and towels. Plenty if tea and coffee, and if you ran out you could get more from a dish on the landing also a sweet treat if you needed it, which I thought was a nice touch. It was a bit away from restaurants and the main shopping but public buses stopped just down the road and was easy to catch and came regularly if you didn’t have a car. If you did have a car there seemed...

“Clean Room. Staff Good.Breakfast Good. Bar Good. Food Good.”
