“Bernadette was an excellent host. Family of 4 was very comfortable in two adjoining rooms. Rooms and bathrooms have all been renovated with modern amenities . Beds were very comfortable. Host asked us the night before when we would like breakfast, her suggestion for 9:00 am was perfect time. Fresh pastries ( all homemade) yogurt, jams, juice and coffee and chocolate milk for kids, were all ready for us. We enjoyed talking to Bernadette about our travels during breakfast. “Its a lovely family run hotel, the owner has excellant customer service skills and all of the staff make the effort to make you feel like a valued customer. Yes aspects of the rooms could do with a refresh butit is easy to overlook that. The food was very good and good value for money. It was my wife's birthday whilst we were there and when the owner realised they arranged for her dessert to be brought out with an candle in it and Happy Birthday written in chocolate!”

“This was a real treat for us, it is one of those hotels that you stay in and eat at for a real treat. Everything from the decor to the grounds were impeccable, and the food.......why is it only a Michelin 1 star restaurant, one of the best meals that I have eaten.”

Relatively unknown to the English (we were the first English to stay here) it’s well worth a visit. The hosts are very welcoming and speak English. The facilities are superb - we just wish we could have stayed longer!”

“Nous avons bien dormi, la chambre était propre. Un peu moins les toilettes. Clim dans la chambre mais dommage que l'on ne peut pas ouvrir la fenêtre pour aérée. Bon petit déjeuner et le repas était bien aussi.”
