“The staff was absolutely wonderful! I loved my time here. It was an absolutely gorgeous setting. The food was delicious. It truly felt like we had a private island to ourselves. We loved the walking loop around the island and going up to the lighthouse.”

“ j'ai beaucoup apprécié la discrétion des gens qui vivent à cet endroit à l'écart du monde dans ce village situé en pleine nature entre la jungle et la mer de Chine. Le beauté du site rend le séjour difficile à quitter. Je ne recherche pas les 5 étoiles avec groom dans l'ascenseur et roome service 24/7, mais le calme et la sincérité. Il faut penser à prendre des bouteilles d'eau car l'eau vient de sources locales et notre organisme n'est pas habitué. ”

“While the staff was very friendly and helpful. This place is absolutely not prepared to host guests. It is listed as a resort however, there is only one villa that is actually completed and the rest of the property is very, very much a work in progress. All of the other villas are incomplete and even the road leading up to the property is not paved. There is only one section of paved road right next to the only completed villa. It’s about 800 feet or so, but this place was completely totally...

“Very peaceful and clean property. The resturant there is very good. Short walk to the white sand beach. Close to stores and shopping. ”

“The room was good, clean, had everything you need. It’s very difficult to get to due to road conditions. No ones fault obviously but would have been good to know. The place is in a very noisy area, so many roosters so bring good earplugs. The beach is filthy and you cannot swim there. Would not recommend going there ”

“nice place at Bucana Beach, perfect for those who like it quiet and away from the huzzle and buzzle of El Nido. The cabins are basic but cozy, each has a fan and mosquito nets. The owners are very friendly and helpful.”

“Staff especially Lhynne was wonderful but overall amenities and property management including food options is very poor. New Year’s Eve event was horrible, most of the things promised didn’t happen & food left a lot to desire for. Overall not a world class 3 star resort even. The staff however are polite and tried their best to provide a good experience but they are constrained by the amenities & what’s available for them to do. Overpriced for a resort of this quality. ”

“This was absolute disaster as we couldnt get there by car and we ended up in the middle of nowhere still waiting for a refund as we had to sleep in our car and never did get to the place wasnt accesble by car at all wouldnt ever recomend thos place should be taken off Expedia as this is a tottal trap !!!!! So disappointed......”

“We really enjoyed our stay in Bacpackers Island! The beautiful beach was breathtakingly beautiful and overall feeling very peaceful. This is a new family business and that's why there are no many reviews yet. The staff was very friendly and ready to help. Food was excellent too! There are three shared toilets that were in very good condition and three outdoor showers. The beach is great for swimming and snorkeling. Thank you for great party at New Year's Eve! We will never forget this...

“La situation sur une ile au milieu de nul part... L'hôtel eco responsable, très simple, hors du temps. La nourriture fraîche et bonne.”
