    The Space:

This oceanfront A-frame cottage pairs beautiful Pacific views with a location just two blocks from the beach, making it easy to spend your days outside and your evenings relaxing by the coast.



    Inside, the classic A-frame design creates a warm, inviting retreat, with a wall of windows bringing the ocean and natural light into the living space. Gather over coffee while watching the waves, return from a day of exploring to unwind together, or settle in for a quiet evening surrounded by the sights and sounds of the coast.



    Adventure is always close by. Walk the beach in search of shells, agates, and Lincoln City's famous handblown glass floats, hike nearby coastal trails, explore Siletz Bay and Devils Lake, or head out for crabbing, kayaking, fishing, and seasonal whale watching. Families will love the beach, while outdoor enthusiasts can easily fill their days exploring the surrounding coastline.



    Lincoln City is also a year-round destination, with returning favorites like the Spring and Fall Kite Festivals, Finders Keepers glass-float tradition, seasonal celebrations, and events that bring visitors back to the coast year after year. So much potential, so sad and rundown. Furniture is old, dirty, and uncomfortable. Shower stall is tiny (water was hot and water pressure was great). Gorgeous views but floors were filthy (don’t go barefoot!) Internet was down for 2/3 of our stay. Management was responsive to that issue.

Don't stay here it was a pile of crap. Beds were uncomfortable broken furniture and no Internet. No resolution from anyone. No concern for guest and the top step is a danger to all people. If you have back issues or children avoid at all cost. Please don't stay here learn from my misery

Some aspects were great, others were not. The ocean view from the deck and inside were awesome! Loved hearing the ocean the whole time! Big issue was entering and exiting. We were provided an 8-digit lockbox code but it kept flashing red light (error/wrong code) before all 8 digits could be entered. After contacting host (property management or VRBO--unsure who I was talking to, but they were helpful), they provided the combination code for the lockbox that had keys. The locks kept spinning and sometimes would work, sometimes wouldn't. After another call to the host, we were informed the keys were different (one for each lock-garage entry and main door). Major frustration could have been avoided if I would have realized that the keys were different and the keys were labeled. I suggested that and they said they would pass the suggestion along to the team. Most furniture (futons, beds, fridge) were quite dated, but they served the purpose. Other places I've stayed had stretchy removable covers over couches so they could be washed. These didn't so it seemed and looked less clean. Carpet had some stains but probably no more than camouflaged hotel carpet if the truth were known. It had an odor upon entering but it could have been from just being closed up, maybe pet but unsure. We opened the windows, circulated some air & it was fine. Creeky upstairs may wake others. Downstairs bedroom door slides closed but not fully because of the A-frame design, so there isn't total privacy.
