We were unaware of the extent of renovations and construction work we would encounter. Husband found and threw away at least 6 screws/nails on the pathway. Having dogs it was a concern it might hurt them. I understand it can happen, just pointing it out. The construction would begin 730a-6pm every day and I know we were told about hours of operator which I thought started at 8am at the earliest. The construction crew were hard working and considerate as much as possible, so I appreciate that.3) Our room had an adjoining door to the office. We could hear all talking and laughing when staff were in the back, which caused our dogs and us to be on edge. There was absolutely no relaxation in that room.4) cleanliness was a concern. Pulled back sheets to find various hairs. The shower had mold and the sink head area was dirty. Spent some time using lysol wipes to clean door handles, light switches and even the toilet wasn't the cleanest.5) our last night there was odd. At around 10pm work vans came in and someone was in the room above us being loud. The walls are so thin you could hear any time they shifted in bed or got up and walked around. Husband is a heavy sleeper and even he woke up numerous times.Overall for the cost of the unit and our stay, it was not relaxing and the entire time just wished we were home. We don't go on trips very often because we work hard and we' were so disappointed in our stay.
