Another incredible stay at Scarpa's Camp! We came up for the Fourth of July weekend and left feeling completely recharged. From stargazing by the river and catching a beautiful display of the northern lights to relaxing in the hammock and spending hours with our son searching for the perfect rocks, pinecones, and acorns, every moment reminded us why we love coming here.Charlie and his family are truly wonderful hosts. They make you feel right at home, are always happy to help with anything you need, and genuinely care that you have a great stay. The peaceful setting, beautiful property, and warm hospitality make this a place we look forward to returning to again and again.We're already looking forward to our next visit and making even more unforgettable family memories. Thank you for another perfect getaway!

We had a wonderful stay in the one-bedroom cabin! The setting was absolutely beautiful, quiet, peaceful, and right on the Penobscot River. We loved spending our evenings on the dock watching the sunset, and our son's favorite part was seeing the train pass by each day.The cabin had everything we needed, including a kitchen, bathroom, screened-in porch, and a great fire pit for relaxing after a day of exploring. Charlie and his wife were incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating throughout our stay. They were always quick to answer questions, provided fuel and firewood when needed, and offered great recommendations for things to do in the area.If you're looking for a comfortable riverside getaway with wonderful hosts, we highly recommend staying here. We will definitely be back again!

I don't even know where to start, from the first day until the last it was just so quiet and peaceful. Charles was so nice and extremely helpful. We felt at home there. The fishing was absolutely amazing as was the the wildlife and the scenery. We love how it's off the grid and a few miles in on a dirt road (which just adds to the lore of this hidden gem) We fully recommend this to anyone who just needs to decompress from normal everyday life and relax. We definitely will be coming back, our kids loved it and we did to! We have absolutely no complaints and if I could I would give it ten stars! Thank you Charles and your family for allowing us to enjoy the beauty hat you have! Sincerely The Brancaccios

Charles provided directions to ensure we made it without issue immediately after booking. He also waited for us on the road to ensure we got there without issue! The cabin is as pictured and very cozy. He has the water all hooked-up to be used whenever you need it and a generator if you want to have some power running in the cabin. The porch as well is super spacious and caught the breeze without any issue! He provided wood as well for us for the firepit. The deck they have across from the cabin goes right down to the water. The deck is splendid and was getting all the breeze from the river! A hammock was situated there too. If you like fishing, you can catch fish all day right from the shoreline. We will be sure to be back again!
