It was beautifully maintained? My room was in the design of an old Maine Camp, it was really well done. The beds were comfortable and there was a microwave, refrigerator and even a little breakfast nook. A great place to stay

Was very surprised by how clean and well managed this property was. Most motels are run down and dirty, but this one was very clean and cared for. We slept so well despite the thin walls

The room was ready for us. Very clean! Wifi worked well. A good value for the price! Friendly! This is the 3rd time we've stayed there...twice my sister and I stayed and this time it was my husband and I. Very easy to schedule on line with Expedia and had the option to cancel or rescedule as long as not too close to date of reservation. Thank you!

It fills the bill...
Staff very friendly and helpful. Room clean and well kept up. Loved the furniture! Liquid soap dispenser for sink and shower. Shampoo dispenser for shower but no conditioner. Not an issue for me because I always bring my own but if I had forgotten hair care, conditioner would be a must. Perhaps calling the front desk would get you things you needed but forgot. Had the expected fridge and microwave. Bed not as comfortable as some but certainly comfortable enough. I slept like a brick! The only drawback was the smell of the room. Had that typical older-motel smell. No idea what one could do about that but... I got used to it. It was basic and a little expensive for basic, in my opinion but I certainly do recommend it, and I would stay there again if I needed to be in the area overnight. Thank you!

So gross and dissatisfying!
Don’t waste your money! If you must stay away from room 17 which is on the other side of the staffs smoking area. It smells absolutely disgusting. After hours of candles, a fan and windows open I finally went and asked to be moved. The women at the front desk acted completely annoyed. She finally told me they smoke on the other side of this room. Such a waste of money.

I AM NOT SURE WHY THAT WAS SAID OR IF IT WAS A MISUNDERSTANDING. . SOME GUESTS WILL GO OUTSIDE THEIR ROOMS TO SMOKE BUT LEAVE THEIR WINDOWS OPEN. WE DO DISCOURAGE THIS AND ASK THEM TO STEP AWAY FROM THE BUILDING IF WE SEE IT. UPON CHECK IN IF THERE WAS A SMOKE SMELL I WISH YOU HAD COME BACK TO THE OFFICE. I WOULD HAVE CHANGED YOUR ROOM IMMEDIATELY .I HAVE REVIEWED THE SECURITY CAMERA FOOTAGE AND I AM SORRY IF YOU THINK THE AGENT WAS ANNOYED. SHE DEFINATELY WAS NOT. WE PRIDE OURSELVES ON OUR CLEAN ROOMS AND FRIENDLY ATMOSPHERE. 17 IS ONE OF OUR MOST POPULAR ROOMS AND THIS IS NOT A COMMON OCCURANCE. AGAIN, I AM SORRY YOUR STAY WAS NOT UP TO YOUR EXPECTATIONS.

Nice room, but don't believe the No Smoking signs
The room was nice and the bed comfortable. The A/C worked well and was very quiet. It seemed as if everyone respected quiet hours (which started at 10pm). When we requested extra towels, the manager brought them to our room as daily housekeeping wasn't being offered due to post-covid protocols. The enamel on the sink was chipped and the drain stopper missing, but otherwise the room and bathroom were in very good condition. The "No Smoking" signs posted everywhere on the property (doors, posts, in the room, outside the room, and on the rental units across the parking lot) directly conflicted with the preponderance of ash trays (one outside every other room). Each morning, we left our room and smelled cigarette smoke (even saw some people outside smoking on a couple of occasions). This detracted from our experience and thus lowers the overall rating.

It was a beautiful night and we (3 women in our 60s) were outside on benches enjoying the evening. We asked an employee (very nice guy) if they had a table we could have outside to play cards. Next thing you know he's bringing us a dinner table on a cart!! We had a ball. Thank you to all employees.
