First of all, the photographer who took the staging pictures should work for National Geographic. Unfortunately, the pictures were the best part of the rental.If you're looking for a football weekend, old, dirty, college house with lots of square footage for kegs, coolers, and air mattresses; this is the place for you. I completely understand the quirks and idiosyncrasies of an old house, but at least make it a clean and welcoming experience.--Host was extremely difficult to contact. VRBO tried to reach the host, but never connected. Had to call/message multiple times to get check-in information. --Place was filthy. Rugs stained and not vacuumed. Kitchen sink was disgusting. --Upstairs bathtub drain clogged. Ankle deep water after a 5 minute shower. --Number of power outlets don't work and some of the lamps were placed on nightstands,, but didn't have any outlets to plug them into. --No towels*** Until we found them inside the washing machine. Two washcloths and no hand towels? --No garbage cans in any of the upstairs bedrooms or bathroom.--Backyard overgrown.--Neighborhood is in the beginning stages of gentrification. Getting there, but still has a long way to go. Plenty of cars playing music loud enough to hear in the house. Weekend street racing a couple of blocks over on O Street.I'm pretty forgiving when staying is some properties, but there are just far too many minor issues to justify the total cost to stay at this property.
