“The apartment was very clean. The street around it was very quiet. There is a free public parking lot across the street, where you can park all night. The apartment was extremely comfortable in every way. The location was perfect. Everything is within walking distance. Beacon has a lot of beautiful sights to see, and it is a very beautiful town. This was the perfect place to stay to enjoy Beacon and all that it had to offer.”

“We were very happy with the accommodations. The cottage was neat, clean and well kept, as was the property. All the amenities were as described. We had a great weekend and would highly recommend this lake house.”

“The property was lovely. There were extra towels and very well stocked kitchen supplies. My only complaint was the overwhelming odor after someone used the fireplace. I wish there was something to neutralize the smokey odor. Also it would be nice to have a tv in the bedrooms. At least a tv in the master bedroom. I would stay here again. ”

“George was a wonderful host and so responsive with all my messages. The area was beautiful and my kids loved the fishing and kayaking. Every morning they woke up and went fishing and anytime we came back to the property, they went fishing and kayaking until it was too dark. There were so many adorable places amongst the property to sit and relax.The rooms had two king size beds, which was fine for them to share for the (2) nights we stayed. Everything was clean and fresh. If I’m ever in the area...

“My family and I loved this property! We enjoyed walking around the woods and exploring. The house was well equipped and was really charming. We also loved sightseeing around the near by towns. Definitely a place to come back to stay again. ”

“Four of us celebrating having or soon to turn 40. House was amazing - I understand some of the comments about the steep hill down to the water, but that did not stop us (use the driveway, don't go down the grass!). Communication with the host was fantastic, the house was in great shape, and there are plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, etc. nearby. We all agreed it's one of the best houses that we've rented. ”

“This apartment is clean, cozy, comfortable and nicely updated. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes etc. It was easy to communicate with the hosts, and it’s in easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, and the Metro North station. ”
