She gave us a lot of information about dining options in the area and information about taking the local train (we were taking a train to London the next day). I would have loved to have spent more time here. ”

Good food,great welcome,lovely room with quality little extras,shower cream,shampoo,conditioner,a tray with an array of teas,coffees,even hot chocolate. Be sure yo book your table in the dining room early and try the Fishermans Platter to share.You will not be disappointed!”

“Ideally situated close to the centre of Berwick Upon Tweed. Excellent value for money. Compact room with small double bed, comfortable enough but a bit creaky. TV, Kettle and fridge in room aswell as a hairdryer. A few minor issues that could be improved upon are; TV is ok if you are connecting somwthing to it but the signal for the digital channels is terrible. There is no mirror next to plug sockets for styling hair etc. There are only 3 parking spaces and when we were there the first night,...

“The service and the facilities of the room are outstanding comfortable bed. The breakfast was amazing freshly cooked by heather who also takes your order. Good choice of cereal, fresh fruit yoghurt and toast. Then to follow a full cooked breakfast ”

“The room was fantastic with a bay window high up overlooking the street. It was well furnished with a very comfortable bed and we had a great nights sleep. The only downside was the bathroom which was 'compact' (not really a problem) but the shower did not work well in that that it never got beyond just above cold and had a miserable trickle of water. We spoke to staff before leaving and they were appalled that this had happened and were going to get it looked at. Overall, very happy to stay...
