“Comfortable stay with a choice of to places to eat. I choose to eat in the less formal restaurant and the food was excellent.”

“Unterkunft liegt zentral, viel kann auch zu Fuß gemacht werden, z.B. Linlithgow Palace. Viel Gastronomie in unmittelbarer Nähe. Zimmer war extrem klein, aber hat gereicht. Einrichtung ist gut, neu, in Qualität wurde allerdings gespart. Sauberkeit war tipptopp. Alles in allem ganz wunderbar und absolut empfehlenswert. ”

“Room descriptions did not match the amenities listed. Bathrooms were shared despite the description in the room, and only one of three bathrooms worked. Coffee machine not working after payment, and no refund from staff.Very bad.”

“Clean rooms, staff were helpful, though the coffee in the machine a bit watery they had croissants n fruits as complimentary breakfast. All in all a very good stay for the price! ”

“This is an amazing space with good connection to many attractions. Beautiful setting in the country with great views, ponds of swans, and short distance to restaurants. We had a bit of trouble with the heat and plumbing but the owner was quick to check it out. ”

“The room albeit quite small was very comfy and nicely done out. I found it really hard to sleep though as the green emergency light made the room very light when I am used to sleeping in total darkness”

“If you just need a bed with no air conditioning ok. The place is old dirty and in disrepair. The restaurant next door The Bruce was very good and reasonable.”

“Standout was the staff who were excellent, so helpful and friendly. The room was great. No food available but staff booked us a table at a nearby eatery. Ideal for a short walk to visit the Kelpies. Location is on a trading estate but easy access to road network for onward travel.”

“I waited 20 minutes to be attended to at reception after phoning for attention and pressing the bells many of times. The staff member wasn’t sympathetic or helpful at all with no information about anything in particular breakfast which ”
