“We like the old style”

“The location of the property was ideal for shopping and restaurants (about 5 minutes to several shopping centers and the mall). It is also not far from Sandy point (about 15 minutes) or Kent Island attractions (about 25 minutes). There is nothing to complain about with the staff who were nice enough. The room and hotel are fine but, to me, were not quite up to the expected standard of a DoubleTree. We didn't use it but there is a convenient shuttle that probably we could have taken advantage of.”

“Stayed for 1 night to beak up our drive from MA to NC. The room was spacious, but the carpet in the room was lifting if certain areas and was very dirty. The furniture was also old and needed updating. The staff was not too helpful or friendly. Since we were traveling with a family of 5 it would have been nice to have a complimentary breakfast, but that was also not an option. For the price we paid, I would not stay at this property again.”

“The room was decently clean and came equipped with all dishes and pots to use in the kitchen. Breakfast was good and changed daily. The surrounding area was safe and there were restaurants within a short distance of the property. They are building a Wawa within walking distance. Overall was a good stay and worked well for the weekend!”
