Cottage a Lion's Head

“The perfect place for a weekend getaway. Had everything you needed, a beautiful garden and was very close to town and nearby trails. We ended up seeing more wildlife on the property (foxes, humming birds) compared to on the trail. Check in was easy, the host was quick to reply, and the property was clean. Highly recommended a stay here, and would love to return in the future.”

“This cottage was an excellent base for us as we explored the Bruce Pennisula. The host was very responsive to any questions; there were lots of amenities provided including a canoe, kayaks, bikes (if needed), etc. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The sunsets were amazing and with the dark sky, we were lucky enough to be there during the week of the Persied meteor showers. Cell service was poor, but, hey, we were on holiday! “The clean & neat cottage is as described. Not located on the water, but a nice quiet location that was very relaxing for us. We would enjoy staying there again.A couple minor housekeeping issues. I suggest adding some hand towels as we used face cloths to wipe hands in the bathroom & kitchen instead of using large bath towels. A fresh dish cloth in addition to a questionable sponge for washing dishes would be appreciated, and an extra dish towel to dry dishes. I found no facial tissues. Some...

“Every area/room was clean and comfortable. Being waterfront was awesome for my kids. Water shoes would definitely be a good idea as suggested by the host but my kids have a strong pain tolerance 😂 The air conditioning was not needed as we always had a cool breeze off of the water. It was great to have it available just in case though. We LOVED the pool table downstairs and it got a lot of use. Going outside to go downstairs was not a bother for us at all. I loved that there was a "play area"...

“Although we had an AWESOME time, there are a few things that should be taken care of. The hot tub should have been maintained during the week when we were there. There were 14 of us . I went in once and found that the water was slimmy. The cottage should be sprayed for ants. There were many big ones. Other than that, I'd reccomend this. We had lots of room and it's not fat to go to do other things close to this place. Thamks to our host Steve for communicating with me when I need anything.”
