Casa Liberdade embraces rustic simplicity — whitewashed walls, a cozy living kitchen with a wood-burning stove, and charming old furniture that tells stories of the past. The house sleeps up to 3 guests with two bedrooms: one with a double bed, another with a single bed.



The bathroom is modest but authentic, with a shower, toilet, and bidet. Outside, a sun-drenched patio invites you to linger under the palm tree, share long breakfasts, or relax in the shade of a parasol. The garden is a small paradise: vines, oranges, rosemary, laurel, and even sweet physalis to pick straight from the bush. A historic deckchair waits for lazy afternoons with a book.

The entire house, patio, and garden are yours to enjoy. Two folding bicycles are available for exploring the surroundings at your own pace, and a barbecue is perfect for summer evenings under the stars. Parking is just a minute’s walk away.

Casa Liberdade lies in Serra do Calvo, a tiny, untouched Portuguese village where life is unhurried and authentic. No tourist bustle — just locals gathering at the café, a small fruit shop with the day’s harvest, and neighbors tending their gardens. Everything you need is within a short stroll: cafés, a minimarket, a snack bar, and even an ATM.



A 5-minute drive takes you to Praia da Areia Branca, a beautiful sandy beach with a relaxed promenade of cafés and seafood restaurants. Lourinhã, the nearby town, offers supermarkets, a local market hall, and a dinosaur museum. For day trips, discover fairytale towns like Óbidos, surf-world hotspots like Peniche and Ericeira, or the dramatic waves of Nazaré. Lisbon is just under an hour away, perfect for a city escape before returning to the quiet of the countryside.
