  • Fantastic apartment located in an elegant neighborhood and prestigious building, fully renovated, refined three-bedroom, tastefully decorated, is a few meters from the Gulbenkian Foundation. Perfect for families or couples looking for comfort, elegance, location and plenty of space. You will be in the center of Lisbon, in a quiet and safe residential area with a wide range of restaurants, cafés and markets around. Many public transport options for your commute.
     
    The space
    This fantastic apartment is located in the completely renovated República 37 building, situated on Avenida Novas, having won three categories of the National Urban Rehabilitation Prize: Residential Project, Work in Lisbon and Structural Rehabilitation. Project by the renowned architect Francisco Valsassina. On the ground floor of the building there is an excellent café for breakfast and light meals, as well as a fine dining restaurant.
    In the apartment you will find:

The apartment was perfect for our need. Very comfortable with plenty of amenities. It was close to everything. There was parking on site that was a life saver in a busy city with minimal parking available. The local host was amazing, very knowledgable, he took his time explaining everything and was available when needed. He responded to and addressed a broken shower head/wand in the 2nd bathroom and it was repaired with in the hour. I would definitely recommend this property and we would stay in the same place on our next trip to Lisbon.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was beautiful, clean, and well-decorated, and the location was excellent—close to everything we needed. It was perfect for a family stay, and we would definitely come back again. Highly recommended

Will be recommending to family & friends visiting Lisbon......

This is a very comfortable, well designed & spacious apartment. We were in Lisbon for a family event over 5 days and liked being out of the tourist area, but in convenient location. We were able to walk to many events/activities. The apartment was also a nice place to relax. Great blackout shades in bedrooms.

Nice, but be sure during check in….

Everything was great other than the AC not working. The host said it would take a while to cool, so we were only there a week, maybe it needs longer??? Nice location, safe area, close to many restaurants and the Continente convenience store.

Excellent holiday in Saldanha

We rented this apartment because we required a three bedroom apartment with a balcony. For sightseeing in central Lisbon it would be necessary to get public transport but there are plenty of buses and a very convenient Metro station which in fact is on the line that runs to the airport. There is a reasonable choice of restaurants and cafes nearby and a well stocked super market within a few minutes walk. The apartment was very well furnished and equipped and spotlessly clean. It is also very quiet at night for a good nights sleep after a hard days sightseeing. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here.

We loved this apartment! Very large, stylish and was even better than the pictures. We liked the surrounding area. It was quiet, felt very safe and had restaurants, a pharmacy and grocery nearby. My only caution... It includes parking in an underground garage. It is very, very tight. Only use it if you have a small car. There is a lot of street parking and lots nearby.

Comfortable and Convenient

We could not be more pleased with our stay! The flat was wonderfully clean and nicely appointed. We loved the decor and views. Our host was gracious and hospitable and met us upon check-in to ensure we were comfortable. What we liked was the fact that the flat is centrally located. Though we had a car, we did not use it. Outside was a bus stop and within a short walk's distance is the Saldanha metro station which gets you to the heart of Lisbon. A coffee shop is conveniently located downstairs and just a block away is the Continente grocery. There are many restaurants in the area and along Avenida Republica. We look forward to our next visit to Lisbon and staying at this property again.

The apartment was far from exquisite. The air conditioner did not work. We left for several hours with the hope of what the manager told us that he reset it. The home was filthy with mold in both bathrooms, rugs were dirty because they were not vacuumed. A spoiled mop in the closet that smelled the entryway. Refrigerator was warm and the entire home needed a deep cleaning. Blanket on couch because of stains. Dining room chandelier had so much dust and dead bugs in the bulb cover and the chairs were filthy with stains. The glass in the showers were full of smudges, dirty fingerprints, and crusty debris. Some of the outlets did not work. The manager had to go get an extension cord to plug the modem in on the other side of the room. The terrace furniture was stained by muddy dog prints and spilled substances. I could go on but the photos speak volumes. We contacted the manager and explained we will be leaving in the morning. The apartment was unacceptable. The manager stated we could leave but would not confirm a full refund and I would have to talk to the owner. I expressed to the owner everything but had to get VRBO involved. This entire process took hours back and forth. A waste of our first day in Lisbon. VRBO called the owner several times with no response. The following morning we left. The owner stated he didn’t want to debate the status of the apartment and claimed some areas were missed, but everything worked the day before. Owner condescending in replying. Full refund

Great apartment -convenient location

Nelson & Joaquim we’re very responsive and helpful. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. It’s located close to the train and there are a couple of cute cafes just downstairs and around the block. There is also a grocery store within walking distance. The apartment was equipped with everythou need. We had a nice stay.
