Residence a Lithgow

“The host was very friendly, a large breakfast was set for the three nights we were staying. Although bread gets old in three days. The toaster made it to be acceptable.The view and quietness, sitting on the porch is fantastic.The hosts laudrymat cleaned our clothes, thanks for that!Unfortunately the lights in the room (and other areas) were very poor. No good view on what you are doing in the kitchen which also has only minimal facilities. The coach looks like being 40 years old.Overall I think...

“Nice location with great views from the rooms. The rooms however do need a modernization (the bathrooms in particular) and the floors were a bit smeary with residue of cleanser. Be aware that the road leading there has many pot-holes (a warning sign would be helpful, especially when arriving in the dark) and while that may not be in the purview of the hotel, those on the driveway and parking area should at least be fixed by the hotel.”

The concierge was friendly, the room clean and spacious and the location was only a few minutes drive from the centre of Katoomba and other tourist attractions. The decor was dated and was on a noisy road (fine if the windows are closed as they are double glazed). “Really nice open area for the kids to explore. The hosts were very accommodating and helped out with additional requests and even introduced our kids to the horses. Basic little huts, but very clean with all the right amenities. Perfect overnight spot to explore the Lost Kingdom conservation area”
