Godetevi una vacanza nel piccolo villaggio di Seney nel cuore della penisola superiore del Michigan. Siamo in posizione centrale a molte attività. A pochi passi si trova un parco giochi e il fiume Fox, che è un famoso per la sua pesca alla trota. Seney Wildlife Refuge è di 7 miglia a sud. Bicicletta o guidare l'auto 7 miglia attraverso il rifugio o in canoa o kayak sul fiume. Bike, canoa, kayak e ORV affitti sono disponibili. La nostra foresta offre molte belle strade per i tifosi ORV.

Siamo a 25 miglia da Lago Superiore e la bellissima città di Grand Marais. Visita il Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, le diapositive Log & Sable Falls. Munising si trova a 35 chilometri di distanza e offre splendide cascate, nonché gite in barca per vedere le foto Rocks e diversi naufragi. La bella Tahaquamenon Falls è 50 miglia di distanza, ma assicuratevi di smettere di visitare il Oswald Bear Ranch sulla strada, e vedere il suo 31 orso vivo. Si può essere in grado di tenere un cucciolo! Mackinac Island, e il il Big Mac ponte che unisce la penisola superiore e inferiore, è 1 1/2 ore di distanza.

L'inverno è anche un momento bello dell'anno. Seney è un hub centrale per molti percorsi in motoslitta. Sentieri vanno a Germfask, e Curtis a sud e Newberry, Paradise, e Tahquamenon Falls a est. Sentieri a nord ci ha collegamenti a Grand Marais e ad ovest è Wetmore e Munising. Abbiamo uno dei migliori equipaggi battipista in Michigan e si sono dedicati ad avere i percorsi in forma punta in alto.

Amazing, accommodating hosts!

The home was very clean, comfortable and well outfitted. Weather made our original booking dates notice. Elijah and Marcella went above and beyond to accommodate us by moving our dates. We will definitely be back!

Long Weekend with friends

Comfortable and cozy

This house is an awesome place to stay while in Seney. The house is very clean, is well stocked with linens and the beds are all very comfortable. The host is very accommodating, because we were suppost to be on a snowmobile trip and there was no snow, he alllowed us to modify our stay.

Good Value

Good place to make day trips from. We went to Munising, Grand Marais, Mantistique, Newberry (Tahquamenon Falls) There's a great place 10 minutes away in Germfask called Northland Outfitters that does a great job setting you up with Kayaks. In Curtis about 15 minutes away there is an excellent supper club called Chamberlain. The bar in Seney was closed for remodeling but that looked like it had potential also. Great stay and visit. Thanks!

COZY AND QUIET

The cottage is centrally located to all the activities we were wanting to do on our visit UP North. It was quite cozy and comfortable and quiet. Loved staying there and would definitely return again!

A great Basecamp for our Up North vacation

The property was just as described, and was a perfect, centralized location for our trip to the UP. From the Seney location we enjoyed the Seney Nature Preserve, Tahquamenon Falls, Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Sault Ste Marie, Munising and Marquette, all within an hour and a half of the property. The house was clean, the kitchen well appointed. The garage was a large, clean, nice spot to store our extra car and supplies. The owners came and got our trash promptly when requested and communicated well with us before and during our trip. If we make it back to the area, we would definitely stay at this property again!

U.P. Adventures

Mu friend and I decided to take a trip to MI U.P. and selected this property to base some day excursions from. First of all, the pictures do not do it justice. The cottage is beautiful. No issues at all with check in and host was always quick to reply any time we had a question. Actually had an issue with a tire going low, but the gas station right near the property did not have a compressor. Contacted host via their business line and was told exactly where I could go nearby to get it taken care of. Cooked at the cottage each night we were there, either in the kitchen or on their grill. Even had a fire in the firepit on our last night! Wish we could have stayed longer. If ever back in the U.P. again,cwould certainly they to stay here.

June mini vacation

This was a nice place to stay so we could travel east/west/north/south to different site seeing locations. The cabin was cozy and the roku TV was nice as our first evening was rainy and most attractions/venues closed by 5pm.

up vacation

Property was as described, Very Clean!! We were able to store 2 SxS in the garage as we did day trips to Marquette, Munising, Mackinac Island. We were also able to ride directly from the property to the atv/orv trails. We rode for apx 350 miles over 4 days of riding. Grand Maris was a nice stop. Andys the local (only) bar has quality bar food and friendly environment.

3rd time is a charm!

This was our 3rd time this year. One in the fall, two snowmobiling. It is perfectly located and the management is great. We laughed at how it started to feel like home. Highly recommend.
