The Space:

The retreat includes Vista House and Sunrise Cottage, giving groups room to gather, relax, and enjoy their own space. Both buildings feature inviting living areas, natural wood accents, and comfortable accommodations.



In Vista House, soaring vaulted ceiling and panoramic windows frame the surrounding treetops and fill the living room with natural light. Settle in beside the wood-burning stove, share a meal, or step onto the expansive deck to take in the ridge-top views.



The outdoor wood-basin hot tub is a highlight of the property. Soak beneath the stars, enjoy the peaceful forest surroundings, and, on quiet evenings, listen for the distant sound of ocean waves.



Gather, Cook, and Unwind



With 2 well-equipped kitchens, including a spacious main kitchen with stainless steel appliances and generous preparation space, the retreat makes shared meals easy. Both homes offer comfortable gathering spaces, while additional sofa beds provide flexibility for larger groups.



For evenings indoors, enjoy a movie with the projector and Netflix streaming. Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, and convenient on-site EV charging make longer stays comfortable.



Explore the Mendocino Coast



Enjoy the seclusion of a woodland retreat while staying close to the best of the Mendocino coast. Follow the property's hiking trails toward the Albion River, explore nearby beaches, or spend an afternoon discovering Mendocino's galleries, shops, and restaurants. The Albion Store is just 5 minutes from the property and a full grocery is 12 minutes away in the village of Mendocino.



Van Damme State Park, Big River Beach, and Mendocino Headlands State Park are all within a short drive, offering coastal walks, kayaking, forest trails, and spectacular ocean views.



Return at the end of the day for a sunset over the redwoods, a relaxing soak in the hot tub, and an evening surrounded by the quiet beauty of the Northern California coast.

Check-in Form: To ensure a smooth and secure stay for all guests, we kindly require completion of our short check-in form after booking. This includes signing our standard rental agreement and verifying guest and payment information. It only takes a few minutes and helps us prepare the home for your arrival.



Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging:Your booking includes full access to the on-site EV charger. Please note that the charger is active during off-peak hours only, from 12:00 AM to 3:00 PM. You can leave your vehicle plugged in at any time, and charging will automatically commence at midnight.



Security Cameras: We prioritize a safe environment for our guests. For security and peace of mind, this property has 2 exterior-only security cameras: one on the main home's roof facing the cottage entrance and driveway, and another at the front gate near the EV charger facing the main house entry.



All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.



No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
