Me, my wife, and our dog Simon had a lovely stay at this cabin. Jeff was very accommodating, gave us a quick tour, and then we never saw him again, which was sort of a shame because he seemed like a really interesting person.
It is a really old cabin, nobody knows how old, but Jeff has done a splendid job of updating it, it has good power, great internet connection, hot water, and it is clean.
Walking to the Little Swiss Chalet is not an issue, and we enjoyed a couple nice dinners with that amazing outside view. The best part for us, and what we were there for, was immediate access to BRP, enjoyable 30 minute drive to Linville Falls, and great hiking with the dog. Also, very enjoyable drive down BRP to 80 to Burnsville.
I don't think you can find a nicer, more convenient spot, in this specific area off the BPP and 226A.
