“This is a no frills motel. The rooms are nicely decorated and the location is conveniently located to numerous trails nearby. Unfortunately, that wasn’t enough to save the stay for us. Our shower didn’t have hot water (not even lukewarm), the closet door was nearly impossible to open, there weren’t enough towels, the bathroom has no hooks/no place to set things on the vanity, no housekeeping, and the no-contact check-in felt very impersonal. “We had a very enjoyable time. Learned a lot from the owner who helped me get my first moose sighting. He was very knowledgeable about the area and even helped map out our motorcycle ride for the day. 100% would recommend!”
