“My wife and I love to visit Savannah and this was the first time staying at McMillan Inn. The location is GREAT! It is a couple of blocks away from Forsyth Park and is in walking distance from all the shopping and sights that Historic Savannah has to offer. The staff was friendly and engaging. They serve a delicious breakfast each morning. We stayed in the Whitaker Room and it was lovely. The only knock would be the smaller-sized bathroom that didn't have much, if any space to place cosmetics,...

“Wonderful "historic" home in a great part of town (midtown, just off Forsyth Park-we highly recommend staying in this part of town which is quiet and convenient). Owners did a great job of adding modern conveniences to the 19th century building making the experience comfortable while getting the feel for the character of Savannah. Staff was friendly and helpful but unobtrusive. We especially liked the second entrance to our room which led out to an expansive balcony.”

“Great location to all attractions in downtown area. Trolley stop is right across the street and River street is 5mins walk. The Georgia Queen sunset cruise boat landing dock is also closeby, about 10 mins walking. Very convenient for first timers. Parking is easy and no extra cost. ”

“This is a special place. The house itself is beautiful as are the grounds. Our room was lovely with a great patio. The bed was comfy and the room temperature was easily controlled to your comfort. The staff are very welcoming and attentive to the needs of the guests. There is a social hour every night with a drink and appetizer and dessert laid out in the evening. Breakfast was served in a beautiful dinning room with a nicely set table. They were able to accommodate our food preferences...

“Everything smelled so clean. The front desk was very helpful with all of our questions. They gave us suggestions for dinner and tours. Breakfast was very good and it was enough food to hold us over until a late lunch. We did not participate but they had wine happy hour and desserts early evening. It was a quick trip but a delightful one. ”
