The owners are awesome and very knowledgable about the area, even gave us tips of things to do during our stay. “The room was very clean and the bathroom cleaner. We had a nice view of the area and were within walking distance of everything a tourist could want or need. We were in town for a concert and were only 2 minutes from the venue. The staff was friendly and made us feel more than welcome. The hotel itself, while in a historic building, never felt "old". I would absolutely stay here again. ”

“The staff was extremely accommodating. I learned Deadwood is not a very handicap accessible place but the hotel was except for the casino across the street. I would have to go outdoors to go to the next levels of the casino which to be fair. This is a historic town so I get that they don't want to alter it very much and the parking was across the street and you had to go around the parking lot and they don't like to shovel the sidewalks and Deadwood sidewalks are very icy which does happen in...

“The bed was comfy but bathroom area was not adequate. No shower and toilet in a room smaller than a portable outhouse. ”
