"Cottage was warm and comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. Ample parking and a secluded back garden. Perfect for the weekend. Added bonus was the log fire. "

"We had a wonderful time. The property has everything you could need including thoughtful extras like milk, bread, tea and coffee on arrival. Property owner is lovely and easily contactable. There is a lovely place to sit outside with amazing views. Hay-on-Wye is literally an 8 minute drive away and lives up to its name of a bookish town. One of our favourite get always and I can’t recommend enough!"

"This is a delightful well equipped property which proved cosy and comfortable , much needed in a week of poor weather. The upstairs bedroom is far superior to the downstairs, as is the upstairs bathroom but twin beds don’t suit, and we weren’t sure if they were zip and link It would be really great if they were! We appreciated decent number of dishwasher and laundry tablets, provisions for the dog, and a quirky welcome pack. Thank you."

Getting the boiler just right took a while. There wasnt enough hot water on our first night, so the kids ended up with a tepid bath and theln in trying to sort that out we set the boiler to come on early in the morning so we could have hot showers - the boiler is noisy and so woke us up very early. "Lovely house just VERY COLD!!!! Wasn’t told about the heating been on 2 separate thermostats. House was cold at night and some people left to go home and get warm. Location was fantastic, house was beautiful. Only downfall was the cold heating, log fire was blocked in chimney and WiFi was very temperamental"

"A lovely pod next to the owner's farm house in a lovely quiet spot with a lovely private lake to walk around, hot tub to spend the night in, views of the hills from the deck in the day time, good parking space, Oven, hobs, microwave, toaster, and everything else you could need in the kitchen.
