“The staff were helpful during a very busy time. Parking was adequate. Bar and restaurant service was good and staff manners to be commended. Room was clean but lacked sufficient toiletries, and clothes hangers(thank heaven for M&S plastic sales hangers).”

However it has no air-conditioning, all you get is just a table fan, me and partner can't sleep for whole night, wake up every hour because of the heat! I hadn’t realised I’d booked a room with shared bathroom and the bathroom was on first floor and we were on the second - we only saw one shower and 2 toilets for all the shared rooms. “The previous reviews are outdated. I had a great stay at Harleys. It was very quiet, clean, and the room was big. Self check in was very straightforward and the staff were really helpful. They checked in with me to make sure everything was good, which it was. Very good location, close to shops and train/bus station. I would happily stay again.”

“The room was spotless and white bed linen crisp and white. However the overall rating was let down by historic carpet stains in abundance throughout the property. The sash windows either need repairing or replacing and the glass was blown therefore affecting the view. Also one of the windows could not be closed and the others couldn't be opened. The coffee shop within the hotel served great coffee and iced coffee and staff were so nice. The hotel itself just needs a bit of money spent on it to...
