“All the staff I came across had a lovely helpful attitude. The room was basic, but that was what I paid for. Every where was clean. They have added double glazing inside the sash windows so although room was on the main high street it was super quiet - had a great night's sleep. Didn't have breakfast, but did have an evening meal which was OK nothing special.”

“Accommodation excellent, hosts amazing. Not much in the village, pub closed during week, nearest shop 10 minute drive.Expected the garden to be at back of property, which it wasn't.. It was shared with owners who live next door, which meant you had to leave the property to access it.Note for people with dogs.Owners ask that pets are not left in the property unattended. Might be an issue for some people if they want to pop to pub for a meal or drink without pets.Overall we had a lovely time...

“We stayed for 3 nights. The Cow Shed had everything we could have needed. It was comfy and cosy. The welcome packs for both us and our dog were more than we could have asked for and were a very nice surprise. We would definitely recommend and if we are in the area again we will certainly stay there.”

“We received a warm welcome from the host, with drinks served in the garden on arrival. Our room was very comfortable and well presented to a high standard. Breakfast on both days had a wide choice and was delicious with friendly service throughout our stay. We would highly recommend this country house hotel to anyone staying in this lovely part of Wales.”

“Spacious,clean and peaceful. A very comfortable bed. A few suggestions- a welcome information pack would be useful including relevant mobile numbers in case of emergency, also information/ history on local area - Llandysul + nearby villages/ towns. A larger mirror ( full size if possible!).”

“Very friendly and helpful staff. I wasn't very happy with our room. It definitely needs an upgrade. The toilet paper holder was partially hanging off and a small part of the dresser was broken off. The bed was very clean although too soft for myself and my husband. The food was nice”
