“Hotel itself is nice and very well located with wonderful view on the Harbour of Tarbert. Room size ok and bed comfortable. What they lacked was not informing that one slide-door of the shower box was broken. Unfortunately I only found out about the problem when I already was in the shower box and managed somehow to close it. When I noticed the problem to the staff, I was told the they were aware of the problem but 1. I was given the room anyway and 2. nobody has thought to tell me about the...

“Our Dog was welcomed. Very friendly and approachable staff, our room was as expected clean and exactly what we required as being disabled, on the ground floor and a walk in shower. We had no problems getting there, and being there, staff were excellent and attentive, Especially Gavin GM. Dale HM, and Pete the Executive Chef. Other staff were friendly and helpful too. We had a great stay.”

“The Crinan hotel was lovely , the staff were amazing , could not have been more helpful. The food in the restaurant in my opinion was excellent, beautifully prepared and the portions were good . The location was stunning and would definitely stay there again .”

“We stayed only one night therefore my opinion can be partial. The building is old and some parts should probably be renewed (elevator first!) but well kept in general. The room rather small but clean. WiFi is probably underdimensioned as I could not connect despite of the good signal, fortunately personel (all very kind) provided an alternative network. “Arrived to a luke warm welcome. The bedroom window was wide open, to air the room, which was damp. The reception area stank of cigarettes smoke. The carpets are so grubby, some steps the carpet is held together with gaffer tape. When we said we wouldn’t be staying because it wasn’t suitable and damp and in general disrepair. We weren’t offered any incentive to stay or give an option for a better room. This hotel would have been amazing in the 1980’s but has indeed lost all its charm. ”

“Our room was clean and had tea/ coffee making facilities. Toiletries were also provided. The view out our window was of the castle. Good location. Hotel requires some updating and there are a few stairs to the rooms. ”

Il check in è legato agli orari di quest'ultimo, ma noi abbiamo avvisato del ritardo e sono venuti a consegnarci le chiavi senza problemi. La camera era molto grande e accogliente. Letto comodo e ampio, asciugacapelli, Tv e colazione molto abbondante.”
