“Absolutely worth it for the wolf chalets! We stayed with 3 kids, the couch is wide enough to sleep even though it doesn’t pull out. We stayed in the arctic wolves chalet which is farther to the side and has no balcony. The wolves circle the area regularly, sometimes alone, sometimes together. You will see them plenty. They start howling around 2am, last howl was around 530-6am, almost right outside our windows! It has a full kitchen and fridge, so you can make your own diner. We ordered...

“ Beyond expectations in every way! Beautiful, clean, Modern, high end property and features. We had access to the fire pit with wood provided. Close encounter with wolves on the other side of the living room window peeking in, and hearing the wolves howl at sundown and sun up was purely magical! Impressive, fresh breakfast that we bought in advance was delivered in a basket at our doorstep in the morning. I cannot say enough good things about the Wolf Lodge. “My wife and I were doing a meandering drive from Ottawa to Montreal. We made a last-minute decision to stay here, grabbing the last room available. We knew it was a remote location, so our expectations were not high.
Owner Dominic, however, has created a jewel along the Ontario side of the Ottawa River that I highly recommend for lodging and, more importantly, the food!

“A charming little roadside motel with spotless rooms and thoughtful touches that made our stay really comfortable. It’s just a short walk through the forest to the world largest log cabin at Fairmont :) — we even saw fireflies on the way, which was magical. Plenty of lovely eateries nearby, and despite being on the road, it was wonderfully quiet at night.”
