“This hotel did not live up to expectations. Although the lake front location was great, unfortunately the condition and cleanliness of the property was not so good.”

“The view from the balcony of our lakefront room was lovely. Unfortunately the balcony had not been cleaned - a few pieces of trash but the a/c unit about 6” from the chairs were covered in bugs. Hard to keep it clean with the nearby water but this was there when we arrived. The room was recently renovated and was lovely. We liked the location and had a great time in the area. We ate at the restaurant the last evening and enjoyed our food.”

“Plum Point is an absolute paradise. We enjoyed the scenery, food, and drinks. the facility was awesome. our room was wonderful. We will definately be coming back. our only regret is not bringing our dogs. they would have absolutely loved it. It is the type of place where you feel forgotten by the crazy world. I would (and will) recommend to all but kinda want to keep it a secret for myself.”

“The room was very clean and a gift bag with two bottles of water, cookies, and pretzels was waiting for us. The bathroom was clean, but dated. The air conditioning unit was not as noisy as some, but still kept me awake. The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was well stocked, but I wished it opened earlier than 7 am. The property itself is a little dated.”

“We enjoyed our stay at the Longhouse Manor. Our room, common spaces and pool were clean. We enjoyed the breakfast offerings of fresh fruit, eggs and protein each day. The innkeeper was very nice. The only misgiving was the toilet, which was displaced from the floor and the tile was cracked. While everything was fully functional, a shifting toilet is the last thing one would and should expect while taking care of business.”
