Bellissimo cottage restaurato a East Mayo con 4 * Irish Tourist Authority Award

Costruito dal Consiglio distrettuale congestionato nel 1903, questo splendido cottage è stato appena completamente rinnovato e ha un punteggio di 4 * con l'autorità turistica irlandese. Situato nel piccolo villaggio di Bracklagh, è stato rifinito secondo uno standard molto elevato con un nuovo bagno e cucina, bagno privato, stufa a legna / torba, sky + HD, docking station per iPod, radio digitale Roberts, biancheria da The White Azienda, accappatoi in spugna e riscaldamento a pavimento tramite una pompa di calore ad acqua freatica. Un fienile ristrutturato è l'ideale per il parcheggio, mentre un secondo fienile con serratura è l'ideale per riporre biciclette, tavole da surf e simili. Bracklagh è molto tranquillo e un paradiso per la fauna selvatica - in particolare le lepri.

After our experience at the last cottage, which was less than welcoming (guest instructions posted like confetti around whole house), cluttered, and unclean, we weren't sure what to expect.We weren’t disappointed! Seán allowed us to check in early and met us at their cottage to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We couldn't have asked for more!The cottage was spotlessly clean and had some basic supplies (tea, sugar, etc.). We took advantage of Suzi's cooking and generosity by ordering her soda bread and a cottage pie for two which would easily feed four and all for a very reasonable 25...thank you, Suzi We humans soon made friends with the resident cats, who thankfully were very dog savvy moggies, although our dogs were less entranced Would we recommend? Undoubtably!Would we come again? Absolutely!

This location was ideal for us and our dogs as we needed to escape the madness of fireworks over Halloween and enjoy a quiet countryside break. The property was clean and well cared for and had all the facilities we needed. The owner was always on hand to deal with any issues and it was the icing on the cake to have the company of their cats and ponies

I loved the Blue Cottage. Peaceful, calming and away from everywhere. It was exactly what I needed as I was recovering from 6 months of chemo. Teddy, my male Lhasa Apso, fell in love with the white Shetland pony. He would run to her when he went out and lick her mouth. She wasn’t sure what to make of it at the beginning, but eventually joined in. So funny watching the pair of them. Sasha wasn’t so interested. We had a slight problem the first night; the electricity went off, probably affected by the severe storm the day before. Sean very kindly brought me candles, wood and turf for the fire and make sure everything was okay. I felt very well looked after and certainly would recommend it to anyone else. I was sorry to leave.

Unfortunately this was a work trip so I didn’t get to explore the beautiful countryside as much as I would have liked but the cottage was absolutely beautiful. Really well equipped and comfortable. The owners Seán & Suzi were warm and welcoming. Great place to come back to after a hard days work but I would love to bring the family back for a wee holiday sometime. First class.

Lovely house exactly as seen and described. Very good hosts, had a folder full of information for things to do whilst you are staying there. Beautiful views of the night sky due to the rural location of the property.

voll ausgestattetes Ferienhaus, besonders die Küche lässt keine Wünsche offen;3 Kätzchen auf dem Grundstück wollten viel gestreichelt werden, unser Sohn im Teenageralter hatte seine Freude daran; Einziges Manko: Das Haus liegt sehr abgeschieden, ein Auto wird auf jeden Fall benötigt. Ein abendlicher Spaziergang in einen urigen Pub war nicht möglich; super nette und unkomplizierte Kommunikation mit Suzi und Sean; Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit in dem Ferienhaus.

From the moment my husband & I stepped inside this beautiful cosy cottage, we felt so at home. Our little boy & our dog both enjoyed their stay. We didn't want to leave. The cottage is really nice, not too far from Claremorris (groceries, pharmacy and more). We had a great stay with a really calm neighborhood! Beware of the cats, they ask for pets really often. Also, the cottage has many nice things to visit around: beaches, museum, castles... and Sean and Suzi have put together a binder with great recommendations.
