Logrono, capital of the La Rioja region in northern Spain, has great food, good wine and so much #History. An overnight stop on the Camino de Santiago and surrounded by vineyards, it’s a beautiful city. Construction on this stunning cathedral began in the 15th century and wasn’t completed until the 18th century. The most striking feature is the twin Baroque towers that take on a golden glow of an afternoon. The tapas bars of Logrono are well worth a night of bar hopping and along with some time in the vineyards and wineries, it’s worth a couple of days on the itinerary.

“Muy bien diseñada, todo nuevo y con una buena distribución y todo lo necesario. El baño está genial y las camas son cómodas. Tiene ascensor que, en mi caso, que voy con muleta, y para quien lo necesite es un punto a favor. Muy limpia y a nada del centro. El anfitrión es atento y amable y soluciona al momento cualquier problema que pueda aparecer. En resumen, un 10 por las instalaciones y por el anfitrión. Muchas gracias. ”

“Communication with the host was excellent. The check-in process is so convenient as it is all online, no key needed. The apartment was clean, spacious and located close to the center of the city. Finding a parking spot was not that hard (free). We missed having an extra bathroom because we’re a family of six, but we managed. Beds/pillows/linens were very comfortable and new. We missed some basic kitchen items like a capsule coffee maker, salt, more dishwasher capsules, vinegar, oil, bigger pan....
