“This place was a perfect place for us and our 4 young children, ages 12-4. They played soccer in the yard and watched the sheep while we were there, and it was close to Colorado Bend State Park. It was fun to go to the park during the day then come relax in the evening and watch/listen to the sheep, make some dinner, and watch the beautiful sunset in the evening. We all slept great, too, thanks to the solitude/darkness/silence of the area and the beds being comfy enough! The stars were amazing. ”

“The surroundings near the river were wonderful. I went on a Sunday evening, and there weren’t other people. It was great. On Sunday evening the bar around the corner had live music.”

“The cabin itself was clean and comfortable, and it had most of what we needed for our stay. It’s a functional place rather than a luxury retreat, but it served its purpose well.One thing that would have been helpful to know ahead of time is that the cabins are located very close to the road, and there isn’t much usable outdoor property unless you walk down the stairs.
