“We stayed here in 2023 and absolutely loved it. We know that it is a five-star hotel, but we paid a lot more this time...in low season, which was disappointing. The staff is amazing and the breakfast is the best you can find in any hotel. ”

“Très bien situé, à moins de 12 minutes de marche du Vieux-Sherbrooke. Les propriétaires et le personnel se distinguent par une grande discrétion, allant jusqu’à s’effacer pour laisser toute la place au séjour. Cette réserve pourra plaire à certains, mais elle nous a laissés avec le sentiment d’être un peu de trop. Superbe demeure de 1872, soigneusement rénovée. Chambre très confortable, malgré le léger bruit constant du calorifère.”

“Incredible stay. The room itself was very comfortable and beautiful and very clean (absolutely clean; I found no dust, hairs, or anything like that). It feels like a place personalized for your comfort and privacy. The shower got hot enough for me, which was great. I did not need to bring anything with me in terms of soap, towel, etc. The owners contacted me ahead of time to find out whether I had any dietary concerns, which was lovely since I do (lactose, gluten-intolerance, pescatarian). “L'hôtel est très bien situé près d'un très beau parc, de la riviere Magog et du marché de la Gare. Le lobby et le bar sont agréables. La chambre est confortable et aménagée correctement. Le petit déjeuner est minimaliste mais correct et peu dispendieux. Le prix demandé est relativement élevé.”

“This is a very charming B&B with an equally charming host. Our room was very comfortable and breakfast was superb. Common areas included a beautifully furnished sitting room and a billiard room. In the private yard is a sauna, hot tub, and small pool — all clean and in working order during our early June visit. Thank you, Andre!”

“L’hébergement est extrêmement vieux et non entretenu. Il aurait besoin de travaux d’entretien de toutes sortes. Il n’y a pas de cafetière ou de bouilloire. J’ai dû aller m’acheter des produits nettoyants pour le plancher, le bain et la toilette. Si j’avais eu les moyens, j’aurais demandé un remboursement et je serais allée ailleurs. Je vais souvent dans des hôtels qui ne sont pas chers, mais c’est toujours propre, même quand c’est vieux et laid.”

“North Hatley is a beautiful place, calm and sourounded by nature. The restaurant across the way, The Pilsen, is great and I would strongly recommend it. Our stay at the Auberge was ok, the room was exactly like the pictures, amenities as promised. Some parts need a bit of care, like the carpets on the stairs, but overall no complaints. The breakfast was good. My only recommendation: don't bother writing to the property because I don't think anyone reads it.”
