“Very clean and well equipped. Nice area, close to other cities and beaches in Cornwall. The swimming pool was advertised as 24-hour full access but in reality was open only from 10am to 6pm and needed to book every day for each session. The private spa tub was advertised but missing. ”

Sul muro troverete un cartello: " Keep calm, go to the beach", ma non pensate ad andarci immediatamente, andate piuttosto a consultare gli orari delle MAREE, la spiaggia infatti scompare e ricompare secondo la marea!”

“Bearing in mind the time of year (Sept) weather was poor so heating inside the piggery was inadequate to heat the internal fabric of the whole unit. “This property is a perfect bolt hole for anyone looking to explore the south west tip of Cornwall. It’s just 20 or so minutes from the train and main bus station. The house is well equipped with leaving you everything you’d need for a trip away. The kitchen has all the tools you could want and there’s even two sitting rooms with TV’s in them. “The cottage is fine and it is in a nice location BUT the details of the cottage listed on the Expedia website and Sykes Cottages are different and misleading. Expedia shows the cottage to be within the Penzance city centre & 8 minute walk from the ferry terminal. The cottage is 8 miles (13 kms.) from the Penzance city centre. “Spotlessly clean friendly staff”

“We were given a different room to the one we booked. The room was smelling strongly of air freshener to cover the smell from the drains. There was no hot water in the bathroom. The evening meal was awful and took over 2hrs for 2 courses, the waitress ended up in tears after all the complaints. The receptionist tried her best to sort things out but was fighting a loosing battle. All in all not a good stay, luckily we only stayed one night - never again!!!”
