Absolute nightmare! Arrived in Liverpool off the train at 1930 walked down to Albert dock and the apartments weren’t there they where much further down more in Baltic triangle than Liverpool 1. The name was completely different only for it saying 14 we new we where in the right place! However door locked and no bell. Went onto my check in page on hotels.com where it said once deposit paid a code would be sent for the key safe. So phoned the number provided which just rang and rang eventually going to voice mail. Messaged them never replied and still haven’t 2 days later! So went on live chat with hotels.com after 3hrs of been on live chat and and phone as they could not get hold of the property either, they decided to relocate us. It’s now almost midnight it’s Friday night the city is packed, we are cold, tired and hungry. Got to the new hotel 20 mins walk away on a busy street. To be told no booking had been made for us. Phoned hotels.com back in America by the way! Who told us the apartments had just emailed them and we were to go to an address to pay deposit then they would give us the code. The address was opposite side of city centre and much further away from the apartments. Bearing in mind we had luggage too! So we gave up and got an Uber home arrived back home at 03:30! Disgusting behaviour leaving woman vulnerable in city at midnight miles away from home! Will be claiming my money back!
