“Clean and spacious room, comfy bed, friendly staff. The property and rooms are a bit dated. Decent location. The bar looked fun but didn't go in. The bar had live music on the night I stayed, which could be heard in the room, but it was good music so I didn't mind! If traveling with kids, I wouldn't recommend, but for a solo traveler or fun-loving couple, it's a decent enough place. Didn't have breakfast, but it smelled wonderful! ”

“After many years of travelling, we stayed at our first bed & breakfast at No.5 East. Beautiful old mansion with beautiful rooms to stay in. Nice area with restaurants and shopping around the corner. Continental breakfast was great and the Latte’s exceptional. The hosts were amazing and easy to talk to. We will certainly stay again on our next visit to Winnipeg. 5 stars from us”

“First and foremost the staff where absolutely fantastic. The building is aging and not much has been done to keep things current. Our room had no windows and was very hot and stuffy. Staff provided a fan but we had to leave the door open to the room after every shower otherwise it was unbearable.
There was a light in our room that was non functioning and you could tell by looking at it that it was fried. Tv dos not work the first night(we where offered another room but did not want to lug...
