Impressionante casa provenzale, con la torre circolare, su tre livelli, è entrato attraverso una scala in pietra ricurva e balcone in:

Primo Piano

Zona pranzo circolare con un grande tavolo di quercia e otto sedie, adiacente un impennata, soppalco, soggiorno con fantastici tre livelli finestre di vetro colorato. Ci sono due grandi divani in pelle, TV con canali inglesi e un legno-bruciatore. Francese porte si aprono sul balcone con una splendida vista sulla campagna circostante.

Sullo stesso piano si trova una cucina con frigorifero, frigo / freezer, forno, microonde, piano cottura in vetroceramica, lavatrice e asciugatrice. Francese porte si aprono su un patio con grande tavolo da pranzo, sedie e ombrellone.

Due camere da letto, un bagno, due bagni con vasca, doccia, doppio lavabo, WC. C'è anche un WC separato.

Second Floor

Salite le scale di marmo curve dalla sala da pranzo, una sala circolare con tavolo da biliardo che conduce alla galleria sopra il soggiorno.

Pianoterra

Due camere da letto con bagno en suite, ognuna con doccia, lavabo e wc.

Gasolio riscaldamento centralizzato.

Fuori

Un grande, assicurato, piscina esterna con piscina di casa e lettini di fronte e al di sotto della casa.

Vi havde et dejligt ophold i huset. 4 voksne og 4 unge med god plads og masser af faciliteter. Super god beliggenhed. Huset var præg af at det trængte til istandsættelse- særligt køkkenet var gammelt og ikke særlig funktionsdygtigt. Venlig, nem og positiv korrespondance med værten.

Wundervolles Haus in schöner Umgebung

Das Haus (und der Gastgeber) haben unsere Erwartungen voll erfüllt - ein großes Haus mit vielen Rückzugsmöglichkeiten, ein terassierter Garten mit einem tollen Blick, ein gepflegter Poolbereich mit genügend Schatten - und Sonnenplätzen und - nicht zu vergessen - ein sehr zuvorkommender und netter, aber keinesfalls aufdringlicher Gastgeber. Es war rundum ein toller Urlaub.

Fabulous Stay, Highly Recommended A++

Overall our stay was superb, Mark the host couldn't do enough for you, the house was in excellent condition, comfortable beds and clean bathrooms, the views are spectacular! Great location, within walking distance of all amenities, we would highly recommend this property. Maybe a couple of points, pool not cleaned regularly and be aware of electric gates as they closed back on one of our vehicles damaging the door....... oh and take plenty of mozzie spray you will need it.

Séjour fantastique dans le Var

La maison est située au calme sur les hauteurs de la ville de Lorgues. Ideale pour un séjour reposant. La vue depuis la terrasse est tout simplement sublime. La maison est très bien équipée tant pour la vie au quotidien que pour les loisirs. Toute la famille a profité pleinement de la piscine, du billard du baby-foot, de la table de ping pong et de la pétanque. Difficile dans ces conditions de motiver les adolescents pour les visites de la région qui est également splendide. Mark est un hôte attentionné, très réactif en cas de besoin tout en étant très discret. Nous avons été ravis de notre séjour.

Fantastisch

Mas Babaou ist ein grandioser Ort, um dort Urlaub zu machen. Haus und Gelände sind stilvoll angelegt, Aussicht und Poolbereich ein Genuss. Mark ist ein toller Gastgeber, unauffällig, aber immer hilfsbereit, wenn man ihn braucht.

Un excellent séjour avec un hôte particulièrement sympathique. La maison est très chouette et les 2 étages séparés font que 2 familles peuvent cohabiter sans se déranger. Chaque chambre a sa propre salle de bain. Merci Mark !

Très belle maison

La propriété est magnifique avec une vue imprenable vers le Sud. Au milieu d’un parc arboré de pinèdes en terrasses, la propriété fera le bonheur des gens qui aiment le vert et la tranquillité. Quel calme !!! Maison très bien équipée et propre, décorée avec goût. Mark est très sympa et se fait tout petit et très discret (comme si vous étiez seuls finalement). La piscine, en contrebas, n’est pas chauffée mais la température suffit amplement pour vous rafraîchir juste comme il faut. Beaucoup de transats de tables et parasols et de jeux gonflables aquatiques. Un coin abrité dans le parc proche de la maison avec barbecue à l’ancienne très équipé et baby-foot pour ravir la famille. Pour les balades en vélo aux alentours il faut être bien aguerri pour monter les côtés très rudes (cela monte fort !!). Dommage que la table de Ping Pong ne soit pas fonctionnelle, nous aurions fait quelques parties… Dans l’ensemble, c’est une maison exceptionnelle !! Je recommande !

Perfect Provence experience

This is the perfect place for a quintessential Provence experience. Perfectly situated for day trips to the beaches of Côte d'Azur or the incredible mountains of Les Gorges du Verdon. If you want to have a quiet day, the property is beautiful and spacious with a gorgeous view and the interior has lots of space ( and bathrooms). The pool table, ping pong and fooseball table provide added things to do (not to mention the pool although it was closed for the winter). Marc was very responsive, and helpful. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay, especially for a large group (7).

Maison agréable avec un très grand jardin

Nous avons passé 3 nuits en famille avec nos 3 enfants. Les points forts de la maison : - grand jardin - beaucoup de jeux et d’activités possibles - château de Berne accessible à pied (2km). Belle ballade et très bel endroit Ce qui nous a moins plu : - propriétaire présent sur le site dans une partie de la maison (ce que nous n’avions pas compris dans la description) - l’espace piscine est assez éloigné de la maison et de qualité médiocre Mais la Provence restant la Provence, les cigales et le soleil compensent tout !

We enjoyed our stay at Mas Babaou very much. The house and its surroundings has a very good atmosphere. The Interior and house hold stuff however are a bit out dated. This did not bother us too much. We would surely recommend this property for family holidays.

A wonderfully relaxing holiday in a perfect location

We had the most wonderful stay! The house is a home from home with everything we needed for a great family holiday. As others have said, we spent most of our 2 weeks lying by the pool and eating on the veranda or in the outside dining area at the back of the house. I’ve never stayed somewhere with more entertainment for the kids and adults alike. The pool table, table football, darts, pétanque and ping pong really added to our enjoyment. I’m not sure how Mark manages to be there when you need him but never impose on your privacy and allows you to feel completely free to make yourself entirely at home. He has a relaxed and friendly manner which makes you feel very welcome and able to fully switch off from the pressures of normal life. Lorgues is a lovely old town and we managed to walk to and from town even in extremely hot conditions! The house is well equipped with fans in every room so we didn’t miss aircon. The pool is really nice and deep at the deep end which meant my kids could practise their diving. Everything was clean, well maintained and well equipped . I’d really love to come back one day. Thank you!

Fantastic house

We had a wonderful time with our family with a small child (2 y.o.). Everything is great. The environment, the house, the pool, the games you can play, the small village. Everything we needed for a perfect vacation with 8 people. Close by other bigger villages so easy to do day trips if you want. The owner Mark was very kind and helpfull and didn't mind our late night laughter. Would recommend 10/10.

A Wonderful Time in Lorgues!!

Our stay in Lorgues was wonderful. The house was beautiful and very comfortable for the 7 of us. We received fantastic support from Mark. He was a great communicator. He made great suggestions on places to visit. He made us all feel very welcomed. The house is a ten minute walk from town. We sometimes drove into town but we mostly walked. We enjoyed the amenities at the house as well. The pool table, the fossball game, the very comfortable swimming pool and the easy to use washer and dryer. We also spent a lot of time using the front deck with its beautiful views as we sipped our Rose wine I would highly recommend taking the opportunity to rent this fine property. Our time spent there was magical. I hope in the future we have a chance to return. Bob B July 7-July 16, 2018

Amazing home away from home in Lorgues

We returned to Mas Babaou for a second time because it's an amazing home away from home. Situated just above the town of Lorgues, this four-bedroom, four-bath house is a short walk or even shorter drive up the hill from Lorgues and down the hill from celebrated winery Château de Berne. The Tuesday market in Lorgues is a can't-miss activity, and the coast, the Gorges du Verdon, and the hill towns of Provence are all easy day trips. The house features four spacious bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen, a beautiful front porch overlooking the valley, an outdoor grill, and a large table in back for al fresco dining. And then there's the great pool, perfect for the kids or for adults lounging with a local rosé. Communications with Mark were easy, and he responded to our inquiries quickly. This was our second stay at Mas Babaou, and we wouldn't hesitate to return.

Nice villa; breathtaking view; nice owner.

We had a pleasant stay. However, this property is extremely difficult to locate and could be made much easier to find by installing lighting at the entrance to the driveway and making the address much larger, clearer, and easier to see. Anyone arriving at night will literally not be able to find it on their own even with a GPS or other navigation system.

Beautiful villa with amazing view of the valley and a great pool for kids

We really enjoyed staying at Mark's house and found it to be perfectly situated with a wonderful view. We spent our evenings dinning on the terrace with a stunning view of the valley. It is also secluded and very tranquil. Swimming pool and the pool table kept the kids entertained. Walking distance to Lorgues with its restaurants and farmers market. Mark was a very nice host. We would recommend his house.

Lovely little castle, welcoming and warm host, amazing view

Our family of 7 had the most amazing time at this mini castle. The host provides everything you could possibly need and maintains the property impeccably. The central location is great for day trips to amazing places like Arles, Gorge Verdon and the coast like Nice and Marseille. The pool was sparkling clean and perfect for days spent just enjoying the house and the lovely town of Lorgues. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much for everything Mark.

Rummeligt, velfungerende hus med smuk udsigt beliggende på stor skyggefuld grund i rolige omgivelser

Vi - 8 personer fordelt på 3 generationer - har nydt 2 uger i juli 2016 i det dejlige hus. Vi har især glædet os over stedet for dets meget rolige beliggenhed i udkanten af Lorgues og den smukke udsigt over dalen til bjergene i baggrunden fra altanen lige uden for stuen. De fleste af vores måltider blev indtaget på denne altan. Køkkenet er meget veludstyret med rigeligt med service, skåle, gryder og pander samt 2 køleskabe og fryser, komfur, ovn og mikroovn. Perioden var temmelig varm, men da der er myggenet for soveværelsevinduerne, kan man holde vinduerne åbne om natten. Både børn og voksne benyttede svømmebassinet hver dag. Vi havde også glæde af både bordfodbold og pool-bord. Svømmebassinet blev tilset og rengjort flere gange i perioden, og vi fik rent sengetøj ugentligt. Der var marked i Lorgues flere gange om ugen, der er et par gode bagerbutikker, mange cafeer og adskillige restauranter og pizzeriaer. Værten Mark, som for det meste holder sig for sig selv, er en meget rar og hjælpsom person, der også gerne giver råd om udflugtsmuligheder og restaurationer mm. Vi vender gerne tilbage til dette sted.
