We loved our strand room! The layout was absolutely perfect. The white fluffy towels, the Italian Frette bathrobes, they L’ Occitan’s French bath predicts, the bed was very comfortable and cozy! We loved the fireplace and a little mini kitchen. Although we didn’t have a chance to use it. The patio was great spot to have our morning coffee before heading out. Breakfast was very nice as well. The staff, Jerry and John at check-in were excellent. We were in a hurry to try to catch our nieces surf competition. So they got us situated in record time. I’d definitely come back again and again!

Excellent location , very clean rooms although the beach front rooms are noisy due to Strand walkers and some annoying sand truck which starts working 6am for few hours . Great restaurants nearby , try palmilla cocina y tequila very nice and great food 3 min walk to hotel

Excellent location , although beach front room is very noisy and next to strand . Early in morning the sand truck starts working and it’s annoying . Hotel is in excellent condition but staff are just ok , some not friendly. Great restaurants near this hotel One I highly recommend is palmilla cocina y tequilla.

Room was very nice, bedding was super comfortable, balcony and view were amazing. Breakfast was awesome! Rooms are all exactly the same. Tight for a family of 5 with an infant crib, but we made it work. Not many options for placing the crib in the room.

Perfect beachfront location! While the hotel was close to tons of restaurants, our room was beautifully quiet. The in-room refrigerator and teakettle and complimentary breakfast were great amenities for our family, and, as a fitful sleeper, I found the beds really, really comfortable.

This hotel is amazing in every way. Just 300 feet from the major restaurants and shops, beach was less than 100 yards from our room. Staff was so friendly. Room was spacious, clean , had shower & large soaking tub , and a fireplace in the room to light and watch the sunset . We will be back for sure !!

Fabulous, all the way around. Gorgeous location and views, right on The Strand steps from the Pacific, with such easy access to LAX. The rooms are cozy and wonderful, the breakfast is delicious, and the staff is top-notch. Thank you for making my stay so fun and memorable.

Hermosa Beach has changed soooo much! It’s super extra cute now. Lots of shopping and amazing restaurants. The boardwalk is safe walk up and down the beach or rent a bike and ride around. I recommend this area.

It was good-except room requested was pretty far from ocean view-probably last row! Valet was great, breakfast was ok, coffee was great, fruit was great! House cleaning was really late our first day, early next day…little unpredictable. Rooms are so cute! With storm coming in, fireplace was great!

This was a nice comfortable and clean stay with and very close to the beach! The only thing that I was disappointed in was my "ocean view" room was only that if you walked out onto the balcony and looked to the left. I am not sure if that is an Expedia issue or hotel one but that did not please me. All in all though a great stay!
