Purtroppo il mio giudizio è condizionato molto dalla prima impressione anche se il proprietario Bob si è dimostrato gentile e disponibile. Appena arrivati non abbiamo fatto alcun check-in e non sono stati controllati i nostri documenti di identità. La struttura è costituita - oltre al bagno - da un unico ambiente nel quale è stata ricavata una zona notte con una parete divisoria che non arriva fino al soffitto così da consentire un minimo di illuminazione naturale. Nella zona giorno la finestra che si vede anche nelle foto non è apribile in quanto bloccata a causa dell'installazione de tubo del condizionatore interno portatile posizionato vicino al tavolo; uniche aperture apribili sono le ante accanto alla porta d'ingresso e la finestra del bagno. Abbiamo dedicato alcune ore del giorno di arrivo alle pulizie generali in quanto abbiamo trovato il frigorifero sporco internamente e molta polvere accumulata da tempo su tutte le superfici e i bordi orizzontali come ad esempio la parte superiore del frigorifero stesso, le cornici delle porte, il bordo superiore del muretto divisorio della zona notte, i bordi dei quadretti, gli angoli del pavimento, ecc..

Quiet, clean, convenient
This place was perfect for our visit! Very clean and spacious, very quiet neighborhood. It’s also a quick walk from El Segundo’s downtown area, where there are lots of little shops and cafes. The laundry on-site was a huge plus. It’s a great place to rest after a long day of exploring!

El Segundo Gem
Wonderful little guest house in great location in El Segundo. Minutes from the airport, and close to both cute little downtown of El Segundo and highway to head into LA. The beach is also a few minutes away. The property is clean, comfortable and quiet and the owners were excellent to deal with. We will be back!

Just right for El Segundo short-term stay
The neighborhood is excellent but difficult to get to the nearest train station, so getting a ride-share is the way to go to the city and back, a short trip to LAX. The house was nice, cute, suitable for a family who doesn't mind sleeping in the same room. Due for a couple repairs but the owners were friendly and made an effort to make sure their guests are taken care of. Would stay here again.

We had a great visit at this charming property. Great location. Very close to Manhattan Beach and walkable to downtown El Segundo. Host was very responsive and took care of all of our needs. Great stay!

Great location
The property is exactly as shown in the photos and worked well for an extended stay while I was transitioning to move out of the US. It is very private, quiet, and in a great neighborhood with easy access to the 105, 405, and LAX. The owners were very responsive to questions I had. When I return to LA I will definitely book this property.

Emplacement pratique
Maison proche de l’aéroport ce qui était pratique était donné notre atterrissage tard le soir. De plus, c’est relativement prêt de tout ce qui est intéressant à voir à LA. La communication avec le propriétaire était rapide et excellente. Le seul point dommage est le fait que tous les lits sont dans la même pièce et qu’il fait sombre. Bien que la maison était très propre, elle avait une odeur d’humidité désagréable. Pour le reste tout était bien.

Great vacation getaway in a nice neighborhood near the beach.
Loved the location near LAX/Clutters Park and the beach. This made a perfect vacation home for our family of 5 for a few days. Would definitely stay here again.

Good for price
Close to the beach and friends we were visiting. Older home but well kept. I didn’t realize that all beds were in the same room. Overall a nice stay, quiet, and easy to park and get around.

Perfect Cottage!
The house had all the amenities you need and very comfortable beds. Bill was easy to get ahold of and made sure our stay was comfortable. Wonderful host! The air conditioner is free standing but operates very efficiently. The washer & dryer were a huge plus. I would recommend staying there!

Nice neighborhood
The neighborhood was nice but the only nice part of the house was the picture. The place was dirty! The only towels were hand towels and wash cloths. Oh and then there were the cockroaches… Yikes! Shower was moldy and the shower curtain had mold 1/3 of the way up. We cleaned and bought a plastic shower curtain. We would have left but at that point other options were unavailable

Terrific place!
We had an excellent time at this guest house! Bob and Emma were very responsive and helpful and gave detailed information for our stay. The neighborhood was quiet and pleasant and the location was very convenient to get just about anywhere in greater LA (less than 40 minutes in almost every case). Two MINOR things: There are rectangular gaps cut into the top of the wall between the living space and the bedroom (which we didn’t realize ahead of time but we presumed was for code reasons) that made things a little challenging noisewise after the kids went to bed, and the cold water faucet piece needed to be fixed on the sink. Other than that, perfect. Would definitely recommend!

Very nice place
Overall it was a very pleasant stay. The futon was not very comfortable to sleep on; I would recommend not planning to use it as a bed. We were not able to get the DVD player working, and the TV has some dark splotches near the top, but still very usable. Everything else was excellent. Having the washer and dryer so easily available was fantastic.

Right by the beach!
We had a great stay at Bob and Emma's guest house. They are in a very nice, quiet neighborhood in El Segundo, away from all the craziness of the surrounding beaches, which makes it perfect for a family. They're also about a two minute drive away from the beach, which was fantastic because that was the whole point to our trip. Lastly, they live right off of the main street in El Segundo with close proximity to some great restaurants. Bob was extremely quick to respond to any questions we had and it was a pleasure talking to him. Thanks for making our weekend getaway perfect, Bob and Emma!

Good deal
Loved the neighborhood. Property is in back yard of main house, yet felt secluded. Had everthing you always forget to pack. Loved the washer and dryer being close and available. Water pressure was great, loved the bathroom. My husband, two boys and me all fit comfortably. Most of all, we loved the privacy. Will stay again when we return. Thank you to the hosts! Your home was perfect.

We enjoyed our Family wknd stay! It was a very convenient location! Not only did my son get his love for airplanes fulfilled but we all got some great exercise in walking throughout the serene and hilly neighborhood. It was really a home away from home. We'd love to stay again when in the area. Mr. Bob & Mrs. Emma were awesome hosts. I'll receive kudos for months after booking such a great wknd!!

Great location in the South Bay quietly & conveniently located near the airport
It was a great spot. The description is very accurate. The hosts are extremely responsive. I spent most of my time at the beach or outside at friends in the South Bay and this place was located very conveniently.

Great little spot
We stayed here with my husband and three year old daughter. It was a great location for the short time we were in town and Bob was more than accommodating (Specially when it took me a bit longer to pack than the actual check out time because, well, everything takes longer with a three year old) and completely understood our need for just a few more minutes.

Great place, great hosts
Everything was great. The hosts are very nice and invested in caring for their guests. It should be noted that LAX is right next to the property, so although the hosts have done an amazing job to damp the sound, you can still hear the airplanes. No louder than a car driving by the street. But all other positives way overweight that. Thank you for such a great place.

Very well-appointed & close to everything
Convenient and close to everything, including LAX, several beaches (Dockweiler, which allows evening bonfires is just down the street), movie theater, shopping. All the things you'd need while on vacation are here including tv, fridge, washer/dryer, and a compact, but well furnished kitchen. A/c is a very big bonus! Walking distance to the local farmer's market and several restaurants. Easy parking, and quiet neighborhood. Bob is a great host who wants to make sure you're comfortable. :)

Great value
Bob was very hospitable. He even gave us a tour when we arrived. I felt like we were staying with a friend. This guesthouse was a cozy, but adequate fit for my husband, four kids and me (my 8 and 10 year old fit on the futon together). The house is very conveniently located near LAX. I did hear the airplanes flying in and out, but it was not loud enough to disturb my sleep. We had a brief stay, but the kitchenette, washer and dryer and even boogie boards are fantastic amenities for the price.

Perfect stay in LA!
Bob’s guest house is perfectly appointed with anything you could need for a beach trip or city stay. (Full kitchen, ample space, towels, even boogie boards!). We drove 5 mins to the beach and also took a city tour starting on sunset boulevard which was close. The neighborhood was quiet and safe and we walked to pick up takeout. El Segundo is a lovely suburb. Bob was the best host who stopped by the orient us to the guest house. He texted me back immediately when I had questions. Highly recommend!!! This place beats a hotel. Just next to LAX. Behind his house but very private.

Cozy and comfortable inside
Cozy and comfortable. We were only in town for a quick overnight but if your staying longer know that there is no outdoor sitting area. Guest house is in the backyard of property managers house. Inside guest house is exactly as pictured and manager greeted us and gave us a tour. Only one major drawback is the backyard is cluttered with kids toys, garbage cans, and other miscellaneous items. Not the best first impression or entrance but once inside, all was good.

El Segundo Paradise
Our VRBO cottage in El Segundo was very cozy and wonderfully situated for our family gathering. We walked into town daily for coffee, lunch, and dinner with our sons. We even visited some of LA’s museums and lovely beaches. Everything was relatively close by without having to get on the busy freeways.

The guest house was very clean and nicely furnished. It is in a very quiet neighborhood. We felt comfortable staying there and the owners were welcoming and friendly, We would recommend this guest house without reservation. Great!! Just like the pictures online.
I was very nervous about using VRBO being my first time. I had heard from friends that had bad experiences with properties. Not me! Bob and Emma had a cute little place that was clean and inviting!! Pictures online are exctally what you get! My family and I loved the location close to beaches and Hollywood sightseeing. Bob had coffee and water for us and we were able eat in since they had a stove top microwave and much more!! Thanks again Bob and Emma! Definitely coming back!! Oh did I mention it was very clean!!!!

This is a great place to stay while visiting the Los Angeles area. The guest house was clean, comfortable, and private. Bob was friendly and very accommodating! The El Segundo community is delightful and the neighborhood where the home is located is lovely. We frequently walked (about 1 mile) to the downtown area for meals. Close to LAX.
