Welcome to The Normandie Manor! This California style Craftsman has been remodeled with a designer kitchen and several outdoor patios perfect for entertaining your group. Over 2,100 square feet of living space with 6 bedrooms and 3 baths boasts an ultra-prime location with views of the Hollywood Sign! The home is located on a busy street in the East Hollywood neighborhood of LA and blocks away to the 101 Freeway. (Please note you will hear street noise if you leave the window/doors open.)

Living Room has a new large window AC w 24,500 BTU's good for up to 1400 sq feet.



The whole family can help with dinner in our designer gourmet kitchen. Thermador stainless steel appliances include a subzero fridge gas range and double ovens. Kitchen Island has 3 seated bar seating to get some work done. When you're ready to eat, dine together at the table for six. Plus Nintendo Switch video game in our game room.

Lower Bedroom 1: Primary bedroom suite, which features King size bed and ROKU TV, office desk and en-suite marble bathroom with a walk-in shower.



Second Level Bedrooms:

All the remaining bedrooms are located on the 2nd floor.



Bedroom 2: Queen size bed, Roku TV, and a private patio with views of the Santa Monica Mountains plus window unit AC.

Bedroom 3: Queen size bed, TV w HDMI cable only w access to private balcony with views of the Hollywood Sign. ** NO AC - fans provided **

Bedroom 4: Queen bed, a Roku TV and window unit AC.

Two guest bathrooms are located on the 2nd floor each configured with a walk-in shower.

There are stairs in the back yard and inside to access the 2nd level, if you have small toddlers or mobility issues this home is not ideal for you.



** With our Extra Guest Fee $75 per Guest per Night we can provide a Queen air mattress bed for additional 2 more guests. Total 12 Guests Maximum Occupancy Limit



HOUSE RULES:



It is our mission to ensure that our valued guests enjoy their stay with us! This is a permitted vacation rental with the City of LA . We also have an equally as important commitment to our neighbors and our community. Below are the house rules that we must enforce. Please read them as well as all your guests prior to confirming your reservation.



* Minimum age to book is 25 years old. We require valid photo IDs of all guests



* Check-in is after 4 pm | Check out is at 11 am



MAX NUMBER OF OCCUPANTS: 12 ONLY (including infants or children)

The Property is to be occupied by no more than the maximum sleep number stated on reservation unless approved in writing by Management. If Guest exceeds the occupancy limit and falsifies occupancy information at the time of reservation, Guest shall be subject to eviction. "Occupants" includes small children, infants and any and all visitors. If more than the maximum number is found to be occupying the Property at any time, you agree that a charge of $100 per person/per day will be made to your credit card. Additionally, this Agreement may be immediately terminated without a refund of any amounts paid. No Exceptions. Extra Guest Fees Apply after 10 guests.



NO PARTIES OR EVENTS

A party is defined as any combination of the following; ANY loud noise and/or excessive drinking that is disruptive to neighboring houses and/or guests outnumbering the maximum amount permitted as defined above. A party will result in an immediate eviction from the property with no refund given under any circumstance. Any exceptions to this policy must be approved by iTrip in writing prior to the arrival date.



NEIGHBOR COMPLAINTS

Actions by guests that result in neighbor complaints or police being called to the Property will result in a minimum $250 charge, which charge will be used to deal with legal issues and fines.



QUIET HOURS: 10 pm – 7 am. No Outdoor Music during this time. We are dedicated to protecting our guests and neighbors from bothersome levels of noise. In an effort to do so, this property is equipped with NoiseAware technology. NoiseAware is 100% privacy compliant and is required on this property.



NO SMOKING $100 fine Smoking Indoors



Upon Check-Out you agree to pay for any damages or extra Cleaning Fees if home is trashed due to illegal parties, trash not picked up in the bedrooms or outdoor spaces.



PET FEES:

Well behaved dogs are welcome with a $175 per pet fee and paid prior to check-in. Dogs should not be left unattended in the home unless they are muzzled or crated. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture or beds.

Updates needed

House and neighborhood could use some updates. Overall we enjoyed our stay but there were a few safety concerns with the home itself. Although, it’s is over a hundred years old and esthetic updates have been made I think more maintenance updates should be prioritized.

The Honest Truth

The stay here was overall not bad. The host let us check in a few hours early and we appreciate that due to our flight times. They were very responsive. House was clean on inside and every room had linen. and adequate bathrooms for our party of 6 . Kitchen was beautiful and was over rehab for the rest of the home. But very nice. each room had AC and comfortable beds. Main floor furniture was very comfortable and we had access to streaming services. We had tea, coffee, snacks and water available which was nice. Nice dining areas. The other side: We had to enter the home from the back. There is a lock box for the gate and an code to enter the house. A few nights we came in late and no street lights in back. Not very safe to have to open a lock box each time to enter the premises (This is before you get to the house) . Code lock should be on front door. Trash on the side of the house was totally unacceptable. Not just a little but a 15ft stretch of trash outside our window. House could use some fixing from the tile outside to the back porch and light fixtures all around. Would I stay again yes with group of guy friends but my wife and family no.

Overall we enjoyed staying here. However the parking is not sufficient. It was hard to get in out of the driveway. Some of the lights and air conditioners didn't work. The house was very clean and the location was convenient.

A solid place, but some clear issues

Overall, the place worked for our large group. However, there were some pretty glaring issues that made our stay somewhat frustrating. For one, the place was not cleaned entirely, lights didn't work, clothes were left lying around the living room, the fridge didn't work, there were ants throughout the house, and one of the bedrooms had unbelievably bright floodlights right outside it. There was just one key given, making it difficult for our large group to ever split up. The parking situation was also brutal; the one car garage worked just fine (although you have to open in by hand) but the driveway was so torn apart that our car's bumper was almost taken off by it. Still, the place worked for our purposes and we generally enjoyed our stay.

Nice large house

This is very nicely met our extended family’s needs, with 6 bedrooms and reasonable pricing. Good central location. Felt very safe. Nicely remodeled and upscale kitchen. We would definitely stay here again.

Central LA location

Overall this stay met expectations. We knew going into this stay the property was going through some modern updates however everything was pretty nice. We loved the outdoor area with big patio to hangout with our guests. Also the large living room and kitchen were big enough eveyone could be in one room at once. The master bedroom was very big and the other guest rooms upstairs were decently sized. Bathrooms were also decently sized but probably the most out of date compared to the rest of the house. There was a washer and dryer which actually came in handy. Overall everything was pretty clean and I wouldn’t say anything was dirty but I wouldn’t say the place was spotless examples we found some dirt and dust behind the couch when something fell behind there. There were also some random rooms that had extra things like old refrigerators stored in them? Not a big deal just kinda weird when we tried to put the corn hole game away. Wifi worked great but the main tv didn’t appear to be a smart tv so we had to manually hookup a laptop if we wanted to stream. It’s good there is parking on the property because there is virtually no parking on the street. The neighborhood was relatively safe for being LA and it appears the area is gentrifying. Location was very nice because you could see the Hollywood sign and decent driving distance from a lot of nice areas to explore. Final point being would I stay here again and the answer is yes.

Not the best area and house was just ok. It had been fixed up but on a budget. Beds were very uncomfortable. Kitchen and back yard were nice though. Property management will nickle and dime you as well. Overall average.
