I recently stayed at this hotel and was really impressed. The property has a luxurious vibe that you feel as soon as you walk in. Our rooms were nice, clean, and refreshed daily—housekeeping did an excellent job.
One of the biggest perks was the location. The hotel is basically 100 feet from the pier, so it was incredibly convenient to walk over any time of day or night and spend time there. There are also plenty of great restaurants and really nice shops within walking distance.
The staff was accommodating and friendly at all times, especially Tony, who helped us with our luggage when we were checking out—he was fantastic.
We also loved the hotel restaurant. We ate breakfast there every morning, and the food was delicious. We had dinner there once as well, which was excellent, though a bit pricey—but that’s to be expected with a high-class hotel like this.
The pool and hot tub were lovely, with lots of chaise loungers to relax on.
The only downside was the elevator. There’s only one elevator in the entire hotel, so we often waited five minutes (sometimes more), and it got pretty congested. Not a big deal though, just a minor inconvenience.
Overall, this was a great value pick, and I would absolutely stay here again. I highly recommend it if you’re planning a trip to Santa Monica, California.
