Mohican Retreat House is a real treat

Family getaway with 6 adults went well at this retreat House. It has everything one might need to relax and cook-in (or out on the grill or open fire pit...think S'mores). Three bedrooms with 2 full baths is good for our family and hot tub is nice. Location is close to the river and can watch people go by on their rafts/canoes/kayaks across the street while sitting on the large front porch...very entertaining! Lots to do in the area...We hiked the Mohican State Park multiple times, rented canoes/kayaks to go down the river, shopped in Loudonville and ate out twice for dinner and ice cream. Stela's ice cream is very good, the Black Fork Cafe and the Copper Mug grille at the Landoll's Castle did not disappoint! If we stayed longer we would have gone to Amish country too. Dusty was prompt in answering any questions we had. All in all, would definitely recommend this home for a getaway.

Cozy and comfy

We were extremely happy with our accommodation. Very clean and decorated perfectly. Being a bedding “snob” I always bring my own bedding. I didn’t need them! The sheets and blankets were high quality. We book VRBO’s at least 4 times a year. This was by far our favorite. Thank you, we had a great long weekend!
